*Voice goes down four octaves* Oooooh yeah... Napoleon just got hit by a nuclear warhead, now hes sooo hot *geiger counter breaks* and... a pile of dust. Clean that up, slave. :whipped:

Also, 2 workers appear to be "napoleoning". I can only wonder what that means...

EDIT: nevermind, I am stupid :mischief:

This just made me think of Lord of the Rings somehow

No Gimli? I suppose he was somewhere in the pub, and Lord of the Rings is rated... I don't know, PG-13? Balrog and the Ringwraiths cut it close though...

Im in a Civ 5 game right now and I just met Elizabeth. For some reason her hair is black. The stuff in her hair is colored correctly though... hmm...

That and I got a resource overload of two wheat, THREE wine, a marble, AND sheep! I'll update if it turns out theres more

EDIT: plus one wheat! the funny part is this is a normal game! I guess Sid knows im going for a cultural victory :)

EDIT EDIT: Sweet, 6 Iron. I thought i had to go way down to Cumae to get 2!

Although this IS on settler difficulty (going for the acheivement, along with like 5 others) so its not TOO lucky... :D

Sure enough, he's there. Don't you see the guy on the right with the axe? He's a good bit shorter than the guy who is partly hiding him from view, which fits as well.

No, because, see there? He's twice as tall as that house there :)

YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!! i

The newest album of the Ring Wraiths, coming to a Shire near you (that means Ireland gets some pretty good music)

Wonder what would happen when the borders expand?

The same thing happened to me with a lion, it just sat there and when I moved to that tile nothing happened, I just erased him in the world builder.

That's because the houses are HOBBIT houses, built into the side of the hill.

Here's a series of screenshots from a game that I played years ago. Most of us have had a run-in with Mansa Musa where Mansa played us for fools: we'd happily trade with him and then he'd turn around and trade our hard-earned techs with everyone else, evaporating our lead. To add insult to injury, he'd get techs from everyone else, too, and would thereby put himself in a position to run away with the game.

So, here's a game where Mansa not only lost his empire to a military assault, but he also lost the game in a very humiliating way:

I thought there was something against that, the capital CAN'T and WON'T be consumed... Though that IS a really funny way to end a tech-monger :D

Edit: Poor rosie. Whats his story? about the same? I dont see him...

It's simply tough to do, since said AI has normally been accumulating Culture on the square since 4000 BC. Of course, if the capital gets moved, then that situation is no longer the case.

Yeah, he is buried in my Culture there somewhere about the middle of my empire... but because we are at war with each other, his City can't be Culture-flipped and thus he won't be eliminated. I eventually gifted him a second City that contained The United Nations and thereby won a Diplo Victory.

It can happen - there was a SG where they couldn't capture any cities (only culture flip them) and they won by conquest.

This is so funny, I had to post this pic one more time (plus since then, I moved the pic, and the original link has broken:

Why do I constantly have so many problems with Boudica? In every game, this chick has given me the most grief. And now she insults my hygene? Your time for fortifcation is coming, Boudica. Just you wait.

Maybe she'd greet you better if you weren't at war with her.

I find it funny the Celts are complaining about how the Romans smell!

Ya know, I once had a marriage counselor say the exact same thing to me. :mischief:

1) Numbers don't win a battle... nonetheless... I'd hate to be up against stacks of those guys. (Once I explored further south, it turned out that there were 5 stacks of about 12 warriors each heading north. And that's just those going by the coast.)
2) Err... what happened to his... head...?
