Funny Video: Madscientist loses the Gandhi RPC

I showed the video to my wife and oldest daughter and they were absolutely falling on the floor laughing. They have very little clue as to the game itself (my wife asked "Do you Play as Hitler alot" and "Where did financial come from?"), but they were most impressed on the internet homage to their husband and father! Her only slightly negative comment was "With all the god-dammed hours you spend on that game, I expected a 3 hour long epic tribute!"
Nevertheless, to prove to everyone I am not some bespeckled crazed maniac living in a basement, here is a view of me at my other hobby
Taken at one of those romantic weekend getaways with the wife, far far away from the computer! However, I do have an 8 foot pool table in the basement, a 40 yo birthday present to myself! The good thing is that it won't become helplessly outdated like the computer I started playing Civ IV on!

I think it has to do with legalities selling the game. SOme countries (I think Germany is one) makes it ilegal to sell merchandise with him in it.
That's OK by me, I am American but have German/Portugese/Spanish heritage and I am happier having Bismark and Fred in the game representing Germany. Then again I am proud of Isabella and her mass murdering Inquisition, so go figure

I dismantled a Lionel Trans table in my basement and bought my self a Pool Table instead once I hit the big 40 (my 40th birthday).
By the Way, the wife has the entire office of her's watching the video. You may all want to know that she says he even has my mannerisms, the way his head bobs up and down and the hair falls forward!

Very good, I saw the same scene on youtube with subtitles for a over-dramatic WoW scenario.
I must say though, when I got Civ 4 and loaded it up, especially Warlords expansion, I was uset to not see Hitler as a leader or in BTS, an event that says a new regime (Nazism) has broke out around the 1930 part of the game. Think it would go good with the Events system placed in BTS.
Anyway, the scene, great piece of work and very funny.

Awesome video - especially for one such as myself who counts on the RPC's and others to keep me entertained during my work day.
Mad - as a fellow 40-year-old civfanatic just across the river in NJ, you've inspired me to get myself an overdue birthday present. My kids would wreck a pool table, so I'm thinking a new computer with a large flat screen for trying out the 18-civ world maps!

HA! I managed to get a new computer @ 45 yo although under the pretenses of another computer for the kids to do their homework on. SO far I have managed to keep them off ot it! The wide flatscreen makes a big difference!!!!
SInce your from NJ, just which one of us owns the SoL world wonder??? That has been a source of argument between the states. My army of corporate lawyers and disreputable construction workers with connections await your reply!

While it IS technically considered to be property of the NY civilization, it's close enough to our borders that if we can put out some additional culture it might flip to us.
Perhaps the new Giant/Jet stadium will help along with the Prudential Center...

Sure, the new football stadium in NEW JERSEY that is home the the NEW YORK Giants and the NEW YORK JETS may help. But our Freedom tower will offset it. The only things is you have like 10 turns left for the stadium while we have like 5,750 turns left, providing noone slow progress via espionage (aka politics).
