Game of thrones: Final Season: Winter finally arrives....

I think jamie's just looks like he forgot to shave for a month, not like an intentional beard, like he might shave it off at any moment. Tormund's too is umkempt but it's a masterpiece of intentional beard growing, while I feel like jamie just looks scruffy. Compare to Ned, who's beard is about the same length but looks much more maintained and intentional. What bothered me about Ned was he always seemd to have wisps of hair falling into his face from his ever present half pony tail. I mean really, it's a girl's hair style Ned. You need to go full out like early Jon Snow or fully tied back like later Jon Snow, although his would kind of fall out during battles which is acceptable.

We also quickly forget the first king from the series, Robert of house Baratheon! His is pretty bad ass though a bit on the curly side.

And renly gets a vote for most improved between seasons. It starts out as eh, it's there, and ends up pretty well filled in. Though his improved hairstyle might have more to do with it.

Here's a question, who had the best beard in Game of it's Tormund, that was a dumb question, I'm sorry. But who had the second best it's Tyrion, goddamit, I messed up again.

But the third best beard? Ah, now that's a question. My vote is for Davos. Not as showy as your Tormunds or your Khal Drogos, but nice and thick, none of this Stark-Snow-Greyjoy halfhearted tweenage bumfluffery, and the grey adds a dignity which, again, you wouldn't find with the hero-tweens. (The thirty-two year old tweens. You know what I mean.) The Hound gets the award for "most improved", and would be in the running for third place if he took more of an interest in grooming, which I suppose isn't in character.

You forgot quite a few beardos:

idk I like Rick & Morty better
That's great no doubt, but there are 31 episodes in total, 20 minutes each. That's barely 1 season of Game of Thrones. I'm not saying I prefer quantity over quality, but the mantle of "best TV in the past decade" should be reserved for something that is of a much greater, grander scope than Rick and Morty.

BTW I don't know if anyone's watched Fleabag but that's at least as good as Rick and Morty. Hilarious and deeply emotional. I like them for both for similar reasons, but I think Fleabag is just better TV.

I vote Margaery as best beard.
 :goodjob:

Ahh, see, my analysis is totally different: the best shows all have few seasons and episodes: less 'diluted' so to speak, less time for the thing to degrade and for the writers to run out of ideas.

Anyway, R&M is supposedly getting what, 70 more episodes or something? Give it time.

Let's do a Memes contest.

Just think of it as him being executed by Butterfly Fever. That is a more brutal death than he inflicted on others.

I hope so. This Greyworm character was so annoying. All of his lip biting and teeth grinding. He reminded me of angry version of Tuvok from Star Trek Voyager. Or this Star Gate guy, called Djafar or something like that.

Is he like that in the books, too?

Do you mean Teal'c the Jaffa? He is actually a great character with a subtle dry sense of humor that shows itself in later seasons, although usually he has to play the straight man role to make others funnier.

I don't recall seeing a lot about Grey Worm's personality in the books. He is a more minor character there. The plot has not progressed nearly as far so perhaps we will see more later, but a lot of parts he filled in the show were divided among other advisers like Barriston Selmy and Strong Belwas.

In the books there is no hint of any romance between Grey Worm and Missandei, as she is still a prepubescent child.

The funniest video i have seen IRO season 8:

Man, that's rather hilarious

The guy managed to sum up, explain and mock most of everything in this season. If the showrunners wanted to compress the story, they should have asked him :p

Yeah... how the heck did they know Jon killed her? Drogon carried her off literally right after:think:
Bwahahahahahahah  Oh man... I couldn't stop laughing for like five minutes! Well Done :goodjob:

To be fair, late season Jon is exactly the kind of imbecile who would immediately confess a murder.
