This is not part of the game, nor can it ever be part of the game.

We do not allow out-of-game real life feelings for other people to become part of the game. If we do, then I do not lie to Diana Abnoba when I am mafia, and I just tell her everything. As far as I'm concerned, if Zack's a mislynch, then he's a mislynch. We do not alter the game outcome because someone says they're upset IRL.

Otherwise that becomes part of the game. And then people will do it in the future as part of the game.

I'm not going to play mafia at all if that's the kind of stuff we're going to pull in a game. I was upset enough at Winston in the last game when he insulted me in private and accused me of being an ass, in his words just to mess with me and alter the outcome of the game.

I didn't tear him a new one after the game out of respect. But that kind of stuff can never happen.

I'm not going to be switching my vote. Sorry. As far as I'm concerned, everything that just happened is not part of the game, and it never can be allowed to be part of the game.

If there's no separation between us as players and us as people, we need to stop playing altogether.

Explaining it like this:

I will move heaven and earth to make Zack feel better and welcome. I will be happy to talk with him now, or ever, regarding his RL situation.

If Zack is a mislynch, then he was going to be a mislynch today, and not going through with it denies the possibility of NinjaCow's legitimate tactic winning the game, because we had a breakdown.

If NinjaCow wins based on his move, then he wins.

If he's alone or we can still win regardless, then we win.

The outcome of this game should not be affected by what Zack is going through. Otherwise whoever wins this game, cannot say they actually won it.

I respect Zack and I care for Zack, but there's a separation here that needs to be maintained otherwise we're just making a mockery of Zack's own problems by calling it part of the game, and we're disrespecting the integrity of the game as well.

I'd rather post my own role PM screenshot and wog myself if that's how we play. I won't do it.

If that's impossible then it didn't matter regardless.

I realize I am asking folks to deliberately lynch someone they don't think is scum. Even I'm persuaded at this point.

If we, as townies, deserved to win, and can win, we will. I promise you, Ninjacow is doomed tonight. If the scums won this one, they've earned it and they're going to have it.

That's all. That way the game has a winner that actually earned their outcome.

And once that's done, I think we should all make an effort to show Zack that he's a valued and respected member of this gaming community.
