GameNES 2: Rebirth of Gaming

Perhaps you missed my story....

I want to make two more games:

1st; A military type building game. This will be a cheaply made game, I dont expect a huge selling for this game. I am only making this to help keep our fans appetites up for our next CS game. City Stimulation Series.
The player will construct bases for the Simnation armed forces, the better the base the better chance they have at winning the war. The bases are, Army bases, Naval docks and Air Force landing strips. There will be roads, trucks and possibly a train, if a rail is connected there, racing here and there bringing in supplies and carrying out the wounded.

2nd; City Stimulation 3. This will be our most advanced game ever designed using the most up to date technology available, there will be no hold barred in the making of this game, I expect this game to reach my expectations then exceed it by miles. Money is not an issue and nether is time, although I would like it to be done by Christmas, next Christmas that is....

This game will utilize actual characters speaking to the Mayor. (if you have played Sim City 4, that is similar to what I am looking for) It will have, Police and Fire Chiefs, Medical advisor, Educational advisor, Infrastructure advisor, Enviromental advisor, Utility advisor, Transportation advisor, and finally Treasurer.

Jobs and area of expertise:
Police Chief: Runs day to day operations of the local police force, reports any high crime areas or major crimes that make newspapers.
Fire Chief: Runs day to day operations of the fire departments, reports any high risk fire hazards and informs the mayor that certain buildings fail to meet fire codes.
Medical Advisor: Handles all Hospitals and medical clinics in the city, reports health crisis or national praises from out of town sources.
Educational Advisor: Same as Medical Advisor but with schools and reports educational problems or praises.
Infrastructure Advisor: Makes sure the roads and rail system is up to date and that traffic is humming along smoothly. Reports any major traffic issues and high accident areas.
Enviromental Advisor: Watches the trees, perhaps talks to them too. Considered an insane person by other members of the cabinet, but will report any crimes against nature by the Infrastructure department to you.
Utility Advisor: Makes sure the lights stay on and that water is running to your homes. If there is a leak somewhere he is the first person you want to talk to, if he is for some reason busy with a woman, then brace the city for total black out and fire him.
Transportation Advisor: Handles traffic issues, manages bus routes and passenger train stations and make sure people are getting to where they need to go, works closely with Infrastructure Advisor to meet goals.
Treasurer: Handles the city's finances, if you notice a sudden decrease in the city's annual tax income, you might as well fire this person.

Full hire and fire benefits are available, and the mayor may choose to assume responsibility of any office he chooses, he could run them all if he so wishes, but will be met with dozens of reports a day from those working in the different departments.

Some examples of reports:
Police: Sir, we encountered a man walking his dog in a heavy crime area, shall we arrest him?
Transportation: Sir, Bus number 23 reports bumper to bumper traffic on his route, he is constantly behind schedule, please rectify this at once.
Enviromental: Mr. Mayor! These idiots in the Infrastructure department is razing my beautiful forests for some stupid Interstate project they said you ordered. Please tell them to stop!
and so on......

Game Name: Commie Attack!
Game Type: Side-Scroller Shooter
Consoles: All...for now.
Brief Description: Take the lead as all-American hero John Rocker, as you defend your homeland and then turn the tide on a Soviet led attack on American soil, culminating in an epic showdown between you and Gorbachev atop the Berlin Wall. The game is heavy on action with a humor-filled story.

Technical Description: With many enemy types, ranging from conscripts to commissars to commandos, each enemy type will have their own strengths and weaknesses. With over 15 different weapon types, power-ups, and a destructible environment ((OOC: Can blow up some of the tiles in the game)), coming up with your own unique strategy to every situation will hopefully be one of the biggest draws to this game.

Can I put game ideas on preparation without actually realeasing them?

@germanicus12: Sorry about missing them. Anyway, before I can assign costs, I need to know what consoles your two games are coming out for.
Also, it would be really helpful for me if you filled out the game template for both games.

Game Name:
Game Type:
Consoles:
Brief Description:

@bestshot9: Commie Attack will cost 3 SP.

From Connections Games
To Kingdom Inc, TIRC Inc

Are either of you interested in an exclusive? Connections Games is the largest contender in the Australian market, and whoever buys an exclusive will have a great advantage in the it.

GAMES:
We try to patent these ideas in the hope of selling them off. We try to patent the name "World War II" for a game.

Game Name: World War II
Game Type: Battle Simulator
Consoles: Higrax, The Box
Brief Description: A game where the player is a WWII soldier, fighting each battle in WWII with a storyline explaining how he starts an American conscience volenteer despite the anti-war stance and eventually joins the American army. The main focus will be in the number of A.I who can be simulated at the same time to maximum quality, but battlefields will be based on real maps. Also, there will be very simple systems for determing where armies move and who wins.

Game Name: Showdown II: The Avenger
Game Type: Same as Showdown
Consoles: Higrax, The Box
Description: An expensive version of Showdown. Unlike the last one, it plays like a movie where the character is supposed to be a badass Everyman with no distinguishing personality traits. Mooks are hired and so on- we try to make this high quality by spending lots of time on it getting it as good as possible, and spending more money.

Characters should have genuine Australian accents to improve sales.

Game Name: Military Base Stimulation
Game Type: Military construction
Consoles: Any
Brief Description: Build military bases, the better you build them the easier it is for your men to win the war. (will be cheaply made, expect no real support or clamor for this game)

Game Name: City Stimulation 3: Rise of the Skyscrapers
Game Type: Building
Consoles: Any
Brief Description: Another City Stimulation game. Will be more character friendly and eliminate, or add, depending on what kind of person you are, micromanaging. If you want to control everything your advisors do, then you micromanage more than someone who lets his advisors do their job.
This game will be a "no hold barred" game, money is not a problem and time is not of any issue, but I expect it to be out and on shelves by next Christmas.

@ germanicus12: Military Base Stimulation shall cost 2 SP and City Stimulation 3: Rise of the Skyscrapers shall cost 4 SP.

Orders shall be due this Friday.

NOTE: Is it too late to amend things so that my games work on the Camelot? Anyway, the following are for all Consoles:

Showdown- The Style Expansion Pack
An attempt to gain more money by repackaging the original game Showdown with 50% more options. The emphasis will be on the use of a unique player style of "cool".

The Game of Chess
Allows the playing of chess on a console. But there is no AI- this can only be used for playing chess against other humans (though if there are several controllers they can be used). The main advantages are that games can be saved and played back later.

World War II- Beta Version
In an attempt to trick even more money out of the suckers in the general public, the idea here is to SELL (albiet quite cheaply) the right to play the Beta Version (which along with it will have development diaries, and an optional video recording with commentary on features) in advance of when the general public get to get this new game. (We intend to advertise and hype in advance to produce the effect desired)

The Beta Version will be rushed into development on a theory of "We can get away with plenty of bugs here" in order to get a cheaper product we can sell a small number of (OOC: Not enough for a Production S.P), getting some feedback and a bit of money.

@ Neverwonagame3: Showdown- The Style Expansion Pack will cost 1 SP, but it will count more as fan service than an actual game since it is a repackaging with more options. The Game of Chess will cost 1 SP. As to the World War II- Beta Version, at this time period, betas weren't really released to the public, so I think it would be best if only a full version of the game was made.

O.K, I'll go with that despite my disagreement.

Hey dol! merry dol! ring a dong dillo!
Ring a dong! hop along! fal lal the willow!
Orders, my orders, they're sent a-rillo!

How long until the update?

This update might take awhile as finals are coming up for me, and studying for them will take up most of my time.
