Well, I believe that TV advertisement and magazines were the main forms in this time period. Posters at malls and such are also a widely form of advertisement. The Internet doesn't play too much of a role yet in advertising.

Praha - Dnes byla otevřena pobočka nové firmy jménem Illusion Development v Praze, Paříské ulici. Bude schopna tato malá, česká firma, vyniknout na Evropském trhu? To ukáe a čas. Zeptali jsme se éfa firmy Jakuba Nováka jak to vidí s nadcházejícím rokem: "Plánujeme vydat nai první hru pod názvem Formula Racing a samozřejmě to nějak propagovat.". Tato hra by měla vyjít na konzoli HiGrax ke konci tohoto roku. Proč zrovna na tuto? "HiGrax je pro nás jednoduí volbou máme programátory, kteří u mají zkuenosti s programováním na HiGraxu. Je výborný po stránce technické i hratelnostní." dodal pan Novák. V Evropě jsou tedy nyní dvě firmy programující videohry, bude ta česká mít anci proti Britské?

Prague - New company called Illusion Development has opened their new branch in Prague, street Paříská. Could this small, Czech company stand well on European market? Time will show us. We asked director of Illusion Development, Jakub Novák, what he is planning for upcoming year: "We're going to release our first game called Formula Racing, and, of course, we want to make some advertisment for it.". This game should be for HiGrax console in the end of the year. Why on HiGrax? "HiGrax is the easier one. We have some programmators, who have experience with programming on it. HiGrax is very good both technically and playability." said Novák. Now there are two companies in Europe, who are programming videogames. Will be the Czech one better one?

And no we don't mean Yankees against Red Sox. We mean two gaming companies based in New York, Zabriskie Entertainment and Crooked Lane Studios. Zabriskie Entertainment has announced the release date for their game City Simulation set for (insert end of update here) and already crowds of several fans have gathered at the headquarters to learn about any new piece of hardware or news about the game. The same cannot be said about Crooked Lane Studios as nothing was heard from them since their announcement about their founding. Has Zabriskie Entertainment already crushed their competition?
Buddy Zabriskie say no, but with no reply from Sebastian from Crooked Lane, the outlook is not good for them. Will this rivarly be cut short or will Crooked Lane Studios stage a dramatic comeback? Only time will tell.
