Game Name: Ferret Wars
Game Type: First Person Multiplayer Action
Console(s): N/A
Development Status: N/A
Description: Maximum of 8 players (with console links), players will play as a faction of ferrets competing each other for supremacy. There is not really any solid plot to the game, except that each of the ferret factions are fighting for the lost treasure in the middle of their forest to substantiate a feeling of story within the game. Each game will consist of up to 8 different ferrets fighting against each other as: infantry, tank, boat, or airplane (all players will agree to one) in many different game modes: FFA, CTF, Race, etc. There are up to 16 different maps (more to be available via download) to enjoy. The game has minimum violence and the projectiles will be nothing more than simple yellow spheres. The single play mode will be simple. A hero will travel through the forest to find the treasure. Simple gameplay and animated graphics will add simple but tasteful image in the game.

@Lucky, no probs about the name of my company, I guess it is counter-intuitive :) Call it as you wish!

And Takk means 'thanks' in Icelandic, at least i think so...

Im afraid our financial plans for this quarter and our intention to launch our own in-house RPG project allows us to offer only $1000 in funding for Neon Knights. Please let us know if this is acceptable. The concept seems interesting!

We are looking for a multiplayer 'party' game for our Takk platform, featuring much light-hearted, humorous, frantic action with appeal to a wide audience (at most a 12+ age rating). Our platform is not the most graphically demanding and such a project may be quick (and therefore less expensive) to complete.

We have $2000 available to help fund the initial development of such a game. Afterwards we expect to provide $2000 per quarter to cover all your ongoing development costs.

Some additional funding may be available in some circumstances. Please let us know if you have any concepts that meet our needs!

We have received your announcement and express interest. We propose the following:

Nothomework Adventures: The Bus Stop After the Last

The game has two modes, Adventure Mode and Party Mode. The game is about a group of 4 friends. These for friends call their little cliche the Nothomework, because when asked what they do, thats what they answer.

Adventure Mode: 1-4 players. Plays out like a more traditional, linear game. Player choose one of the four and play the story. The Story is that the group misses their stop, which is the last one, and the School Bus takes them to a crazy, ridiculously comic land full of Personified Animals, Puzzles, and other related absurdist themes. Story will be fleshed out more if funding is found

Party Mode: 1-8 players. Based off of the now retro and largely forgotten Mario Party series, this section takes the role of an extended board game with 50+ MiniGames to play with the 4 main characters and 4 characters from Adventure Mode.

Graphics: Graphics are very much like what would be been seen if using the program Daftpanzer uses when updating NESLife

Characters:
Mains
Ben: The "leader" of the Nothomeworks, he has semi-long brown hair, wears a solid green shirt and jeans. Plays the role of leader/main character

Molly: Molly is a strong red headed lass, who wears jeans and a baggy red shirt with a baseball cap. Plays the role of Tough

Pip: A short, dirty blonde kid who's real name is Clarence, he wears cargo shorts and a sweatshirt. Provides comic relief

Annie: Annie is a typical ditzy "popular" girl, except she is secretly smart but doesn't show it that much. She wears a stylish jacket over a tank top, with short-shorts. She is a very good dancer. Plays the Damsel role, but has strength and can support herself

Party Mode Characters drawn from the Story:

Grand Poobah: A large brown bear in flowing red robes, with a monacle and a top hat, he is the villan role

Emote: A smiley face with legs and arms, he plays the role that Toad has

Teddy Dogg: A supremely athletic, bipedal or quadpedal bearded collie, Teddy is the Yoshi role

Ninja Joe:
Ninja Joe is a Ninja Baby Kangaroo who both Helps and Hinders the Nothomeworks throughout their journey.

To Digi Forge

We would like to offer you the rights to our new game Plague for $5,000

What does it copy? I want to play it :)

A muddy piece of the ocean is vissible... The camera zooms in. Suddenly many very small cells are visible. They seem to just move around, but suddenly a bigger cell attacks the smaller ones.

It keeps attacking and eating the small cells. Suddenly a message
apears:
"Congratulations! You have gaind 3 evolution points!
Where do you want to spend them on?"

It appears that you can alter the fysiology of the cell, the defence, offence, reproduction,.....

A mouse appears and clicks on some options. We can see a new cell on the screen, with improved "genes". But the competition has changed to: the other cells seem te have evolved to. They have defences, are bigger or faster than you are...

This small video has recently been releasd on the internet. Many people have seen this, but nobody knows where it comes from.....

DO NOT RIP OFF SPORE! TREASON! BLASPHEMY!

Seriously, don't try to take credit for the Best Game Ever.

This looks like a good way to expand our market niche. We will offer $2,000 to subsidize this product in order to secure an exclusive.

Anouncement: No new games will be anounced for NKI yet

What if my game's world map is a NES map modified to suit my purposes (will come out in a story next update, closer to the release date)?

I also have quite a few other games ideas. However, those are to be saved for the future.

You're announcing that there are no announcements to make?

The bureaucracy is expanding to meet the needs of the expanding bureaucracy...

You can do that.

It's hard to completey avoid RL games, mostly becuase the sheer amount of them. With a little imagination, however, blatant rip-offs are avoidable.

its like ANNOUNCEMENT: WE ARE NOT ANNOUNCING ANY FARE HIKES THIS YEAR (thanks unnamed GTA transit company not the TTC!)
