I think Shogun would make an excellent movie. It has a great setting, battles and characters with (some) personality. It would also have a great climax (dramatic battle scene, European arrival).

True. And of course, like most adaptation from comic books and video game, they all fails in comparison. Not all of them but many.

I liked Mortal Kombat and Tomb Raider. Silent Hill wasn't so bad either.
