Regarding the mysterious archer unit with bandanas, given Eleanor of Aquitaine's association with the Robin Hood legends, could it possibly be a unique bandit/ merrymen unit?
Ottoman Sipahi would be my guess. The combination of shield, lance and large plume on the helmet is really similar to historic depictions of the Sipahi.
I hate to even suggest something as dumb as this (especially when so much of this expansion seems so promising), but a unique Canadian ski resort improvement would make about as much sense as a unique Scottish golf course...
Still gonna cross my fingers for something along the lines of a Hudson's Bay Company fur trading post, but if we are getting Canada, my guess is the ski resort is their UI. Place adjacent to a mountain for appeal, amenities, tourism, whatever. The map graphic stretches up onto the mountain tile as well, but the improvement itself is on the plains(?) southeast of the mountain.
Definitely looks like it. Two tiles, tundra, more or less the right form. The other one (in the first screenshot in the announcement) is the Vesuvius, by the way.
Admittedly, it will be a rather inspired choice for a unique unit rather than a historical one, but one can't put it past Firaxis, considering that Scotland ended up with a golf course as their unique improvement in the last expansion. Plus, I believe Eleanor's recognisability outside of maybe England and France largely comes from her role in the Robin Hood legends.
Considering that it is next to a river, it seems likely. However, if it is true, the domes will be highly anachronistic as they look like ones introduced by Islamic architecture in India.

I've been going through architecture in central Asia, Persia, and Mughals. Everything seems close, but I just haven't found that pool with the two wall fountains.
I think it's likely a Wonder that only exists in historical texts.
I was almost leaning towards Ashoka's Hell, but that would be a disturbing wonder.

Let us hope not. The screenshot shows a city with the American palace and two American wonders (the Golden Gate bridge and the Broadway) in addition to what looks like the Cahokia Mounds. So I would like to believe that this is a customary 'America' screenshot (like the one released with RnF announcement) and that the Ski resort is a generic improvement like the Sea Resort and not a Canada specific one.

It would be even odder than making golf courses UIs for Scotland. At least golf started in Scotland. Maybe a UI for one of the Alpine countries, but a complementary generic UI to the seaside resort seems more likely.
