I have not been idle when waiting for comments though, I got a start on the County Class CA.

Are you going to be able to animate all four turrets? Can you learn anything from whatever Smitty did to get all four turrets of the Bismarck to animate?

Also, for the record, not sure if you ran across this or not when getting source material... the "County Class" Heavy Cruisers are kinda misleading/tricky... there are actually three "series" of County Class cruisers, each with distinct differances... the Kent, London and Norfolk sub-classes of the County. So, if/when you're ready for a discerning eye, make sure you let me know which of the three sub-classes you're modeling... otherwise I might critique you too harshly!

All of my stuff is animated in 3ds Max - I don't know how he could work all the turrets without that...

Well, I am thinking of the Destroyers animations, it has all four turrets. That is if they fit.

Yeah, there is three types, a tad confusing, but this is whatever on the Sussex was.

Interestingly enough, the one MMOG I am play online, is NavyField. It is a WWII Naval Simulation.
At the moment I am sailing around in a County Class, this is what she looks like at the moment.

8 8" Longs
No Secondary, I took it off to save displacement as they were doing me no good at the moment
2.2 Inches of Deck
2.0 Inches of Belt

Interestingly enough, I hope to God you're not using your other game as the basis for models in this game, because that game allows you to modify ships in manners they were not historically outfitted.

I hope you're using actual plans of the real ships, and not going off of models from that game. There's plenty of good source material from true history to not have to rely on another game's models.

Yes indeed, I only used this to clarify some of the superstructure, that you cannot modify (Only your armour, Engine, Control System and Guns).

And Colours here and there also..

But yes, I have 30 or so other images, as most from this game are to small, and not detailed.

It is interesting, lots of fun! I was hoping when I started that it would be in a FP view, and you on your bridge etc, but this way is almost as good. It is a view from the sky, I should post an image of my CA in action...
