I've heard that colonisation went freeware ages ago.... but I can't find it!?!?

I lost my copy about four years ago and are still suffering from withdrawal symptoms!!

can someone please post a link or something? Help me uncover valuable childhood memories??

It's not freeware AFAIK. However, AFAIK (again) you are allowed to download a copy off the internet given that you legally purchased Colonization and would still own it today.

(Posting a link here is illegal, although I do know where to get it. Shame.)

Yeah, its technically not freeware. However, its classified as abandonware, in the aspect that whatever company published it no longer cares if people have illegal copies...
