Global Warming: Fact or Fiction

I believe Global Warming is fiction, but if it is real it is definitly not our fault. The climate is to big for humans to make significant changes to it. Just think of how much CO2 is realesed in a volcanic blast.
If Global Warming is real, why did Phil Jones say there has been no significant warming in the last 15 years?

That's true, but since we have little idea of whether the natural contributions are pushing in the direction of warmer or colder - only that both the total and the man-made part are in the warmer-on-average direction - I think option A is close enough.

All of those are "esoteric". Satellite data has been interpreted to produce very different results by various teams which studied it..... Indirect. And the satellite measurements are not of temperature, but even the contradictory interpretations of those show very well how messy the whole climate "science" is.

AFAIK, it's been used to show very visual evidences- like ice caps being melted. And others.

Sea level variations vary depending on the place where you are measuring. Coral bleaching can be due to changing currents. Ice sea is not even worth commenting. None are conclusive evidence of "global warming".

I guess we'll never know, then! The seas could rise, the ice could melt, the corals could bleach, and the permafrost disappear : and we'd still not know if the planet was warming! They're all stupid proxies, and there are no real proxies.

The whole notion of average earth temperatures is absurd, temperature is a local variable which cannot be averaged.

Of course it can be averaged. It can be averaged across time & averaged across space. Those two things can then be averaged. It's 1st year calculus. What's more, everyone understands what you mean when you talk about average temperatures over time or over space.
