It's turn 67, we have made through 1/3 of the game.
I'd love to see the situation the Mongols are in o.o
Mongol top in military?
That's a concern.
I feel sorry for the guy who's last. @.@
Don't they get a ton of military when they enter the game?
"Hear me...so called 'King' of 'Sweden'.
**Khan lops off the Swedish diplomat's head, stuffs it in the saddlebag, and sends the horse galloping back accross the plains**
"Let this be a message to all who would 'warn' the Khan"
"Do not insult me with your petty threats. There can be no peace between men and cowards. Now YOU have been warned. King."
You've killed an ambasaddor. How dare you?!
Mongol declares war on Sweden?
This may give Byzantium a moment of breath.
It makes sense if the Khan has been following the East Roman Orthodoxy.
The great Turk send all his best wishes to the King of Sweden and his mighty people. Mongolia will be swept aside like the barbarians they are!
We pray that our brothers in the east can stand against this onslaught. Our traders have been instructed to encurage better deals with all who follow the true faith.
Well, this has certainly taken a turn for the macabre...
*scurries back to the the Joint Conclave*
Thank you for your support, the Sultan of Turks. However, it turns out that the Khan haven't declared war on Sweden yet.
The mighty Khan of the mongolian nation, we plea for forgiveness for the disrespect in words of our diplomat. It must have been a mistake of language translation.
Gustavus Adolphus is ready to pay you some tribute of 7 gpt to maintain peace and friendly relations between our states.
7gpt? Please Gustavus, we felt insulted for the Mongols...7 cities maybe a better offer.
it's 1/11 of Sweden's gold revenue per turn
That's a poor offer o.o Be glad you did not send a SECOND herald!
Also....*hears of France declaring of Netherlands*
If the offer is not acceptable for Khan, he can make us a counter proposal.
Against my own better judgement, I listen to the opinions of my brother generals, who seek to offer you a "diplomatic" deal. They would prefer to see less bloodshed. I think of it as weak-willed, but respect their counsel.
My offer is simple and clear:
I require the cities on the black sea. Their women will provide my men with much needed "entertainment" after a long day in the saddle.
Furthermore, you will present me with 300 gold plus 7 gpt.
Porcelain and Wine will be your gift to my family and generals.
Upon acceptance, we will consider you friends and brothers, united in arms.
Should you reject this generous offer, your men will be slaughtered like pigs, your women and children taken as slaves, your halls plundered for all your worldly possessions, and your name wiped from the annals of history.
Think on this. Wisely. My armies await your response.
Early I've decided to beeline Chivalry before Education. It turns out that I am not paranoid at all
sounds like a good call
It will be unwise to reject Khan's generous offer. Swedes should think twice.
