I decided to let all my landbombarding units be produced by improvements. So for bombards I have the guild, for cannons the arsenal and for arty the cannon foundry. But now I´m looking for good names for catapult and trebuchet producing improvements. What names would you give for these improvements ?

Beat me to it...

And how about "Carpenter's Guild"?

Catapult = Siege Workshop

Trebuchet = Siege Engineers' Guild

"Juan Julio's Discount Siege Engine Emporium and Warehouse"

Pomab´s Emporium ;).
Carpenter? Siege workshop? von Krupp´s engineers? siege engineers?

Trebs 'R' Us...
nah, i personally like siege workshop and siege engineers guild.

I don´t know how to say it in english but in Spanish it´s zapadores. You know, the people who make moats and trenches and build siege machines, and also dig under enemy fortifications. They would be sort of siege engineers, but not just that.

sabateurs? (ie: skilled in siege terrorist tactics, like bombs and stuff)

the people who operated the gear were different t o the dudes who dug under the castles, IIRC, but i cant be sure..

Yep, dwarven Theiwar miners under the command of kalawax, sent by the Thane of Theibardin and Theibolden! but the Theiwar miners got oil poured on their heads and set fire upon when they finally reached thesurface insde the walls of Sithelbec.

Those are indeed sappers.

Thank you all for your answers. There were answers that made me laugh a lot: Very nice is the "domus catapultarius" (or ..tari ?) or the "hacienda de zapadores". Or the "hat of Kaboom" :lol:

Siege workshop (or siegeworks ?), carpenter´s guild sound good in my ears, Siege Engineers´Guild is -may be - one word too long. But may be, we get some other interesting solutions.

OTOH, zapadores sounds like it would mean "cobblers"...
