When you search on google do you filter the searches?

Normally I did not filter any of my searches, but after searching for a picture in the Beat the Picture above thread, I got pictures that i did not really want to see, so I have decided to just filter my picture searches.

Once you've seen goatse, tubgirl, 1 guy 1 jar and the like, nothing you come across in google is going to shock you.

Kind of depends what exactly I'm searching for, now doesn't it? ;)

Bad jokes aside, I tend to just go for unfiltered. I tend to just assume that allowing Google to make the broadest search possible is probably the most straightforward way of finding what I'm looking for, even if it means certain results are... Less than helpful.

I don't know... what's the default? Moderate I'd guess. Never really felt the need to change it :dunno:

I don't like to have my searches censored. Besides, it's funny seeing what comes up with the most innocent of searches sometimes.

I use strict filtering because I don't want my children to know about my early modelling career.

Never never never never.... never!!

It's one of the most annoying things Google ever created! I ranted about this in the past a lot. God, English is not the only language in the world. I've had google completely block all results of my searches which contained words that might be considered inappropriate in English, but that mean things like "how" or "ace" in other languages.

"Cum" and "ass", Mirc?

How would one find porn with filtering on?

Depends on what I'm looking for! Occasionally, I need to perform a search for something that I need to be clean (because I want to post it on CFC) and I get a lot of porn results that swamp my wanted nonporn results. So I use filtering there. Other times, I'm actively searching for something pornographic; and surprise, I take off the filters.

SHAME ON CLASSY FOR LACK OF DEPENDS OPTION

Depends what I'm looking for, obviously! (and no I don't use google for porn... there are times that safe search removes things that I'm looking for that aren't pornographic at all, just because of the words I'm searching for.)

In the spirit of this thread, though, I voted none.

The stuff I look for on Google Image Search don't need filters to remove offensive content.
