As I read it you automatically qualify for the Medal Play competition if you have submitted a game with the correct victory condition - in this case it has to be a Space Race win. Of course, I could be mistaken.

I am playing conquest with Civ 1.29b2 on a MAC.

Given that this is my 3rd game ever of CIV (the others were a tutorial game as Romans and a regent game as Babylon) I figured I would go for conquest.

Given the poor handling of workers by the AI (and the huge advantages that gives a human player) I should have gone for open.

I'm back from vacation, I've submitted my QSC, and I've finally got PTW installed on my new computer (MUCH FASTER!!)

PTW 1.21f for me, Predator class. Hope the faster machine will allow me to make up for lost time this month.

PTW121-Conquest

I guess I should be playing conquest, since I was above 50% in my first GOTM.

Even so, this once seems very difficult for monarch. There are many civs trading techs, and the new guy was irrationally agressive.

@alamo: Maybe I'm reading your post wrong, or you mistyped something, but if you've finished in the top 50% in a previous GOTM, you should NOT be playing conquest...

Mac 1.29 Open... but it is looking like two months in arow that I won't finish... that'll leave me with ONE sterliong finish!
