This mod adds <Flavor> tags to the Civics. This allows LeaderHeads with
certain Flavors to be more inclined to select certain Civics.

For example:

In this mod, I made Stalin have a Military Flavor of 10.

I also made Police State, Nationalism, Slavery and State Property
have a Military Flavor value of 10. (I didn't Flavor the Religious Civics).

During testing, Stalin would always pick Police State, Slavery
and State Property as his Civics!!!

So I decided to make Hereditary Rule and Caste System have a Military Flavor of 10 instead of Police State and Slavery... just to see what happens. Sure enough, Stalin consistently selected Hereditary Rule, Beuraucracy, Caste System and State Property as his Civics!

The only exception to the Flavors was Stalin would select Beuraucracy instead of Nationhood, which goes to show that the AI doesn't automatically base it's decisions off of Flavor, instead it uses it to "influence" it's decisions.

I think this would be a great addition to the mod, it'd make the AI act more like the country it's representing :D

This sounds promising. Imagine my horror to meet Stalin a few games back and find out he's using Pacifism. :eek:
 
they have just one favourite civic. It would be nice to see them combine the historical civics (stalin with state prop. and police state), but this would be a very deterministic thing to add.
 
Deterministic civs would be very good for scenarios which were proposed a little time ago. But not in this alternative history-mod. And also if for example Babylonia does great, it will hang on to ancient civics.
