It'd be a little difficult for France to defend its border with Holland.russian navy attacking english boats during the russo-japanese war, and the french not proctecting the boarder with holland during ww2
The Germans had no real steady supply of fuel, and many of thier actions were indeed to secure a permanent supply. Look at the middle eastern nations they funded to fight off the British for independence. That was not because Hitler like muslims. If he helped them gain thier independence, they could help out with the fuel problem.
And Russia would have calmly stood by and watched while its mortal enemy secured the majority of the world's oil supply. As would the US.Actually i read a book detailing the big 'what if Germany invaded the middle East before Russia'. Appearentally it would've been a very easy and fast invasion with not much resistance besides the weak resistince in Turkey and Iran. The invasion of Russia would've been pushed back to more favorable weather for the Germans, and they would have the oil and supplies to do so.
Yeah. Besides, the Allies were already worried about that particular sector of the world. And Russia would have calmly stood by and watched while its mortal enemy secured the majority of the world's oil supply. As would the US.

Considering France's tactical brilliance in WWII, Belgium could probably have handled them on its own.
France would have to invade Belgium, thus triggering Belgium's alliance with Great Britain. Germany + Great Britain = pwnage

No va would not be how a Spanish speaker would describe a non-functional car. No marcha or no camina would be much more likely.
Pemex, the Mexican government's oil company, sold (and still sells) a brand of gasoline called Nova. If Mexicans were to associate anything to the name Nova, it would probably be this gasoline.
The Chevy Nova sold quite well in its two major Latin American markets, Venezuela and Mexico. Venezuelan sales actually exceeded General Motor's expectations.
This myth just isn't true. Sorry.
Thanks Ambidexter. I stand corrected. I should do a better job of checking the facts before posting.

France HAS a border with Netherlands
France HAS a border with Netherlands, on the shared island of St Martin. Not since 1830. (Belgians wanted their own border with France.) Although technically the Dutch border was shrunk to the Luxemburg duchy until its independence.
Two continents?France also borders Brazil. In fact, France is a South American nation (and unlike Russia, actually is a two-continent nation - don't tell me Europe gets to be its own continent . . . )
