Greek islands

[Kyriakos]

Although they have come to be synonymous with summertime, parties and adult encounters, only a fraction of them are developed in that way (mainly the Cyclades).
My favourite Greek island has to be Kerkyra (Corfu) due to its metropolitan area, unscathed medieval town, and artistic tradition (the national poet is from there, for example).

So this is a poll about the favourite Greek island. I included the 21 largest ones, from the convenient wiki list

Samos and the other Ionian islands seem to have a penchant for birthing thinkers such as Aristarchus and Pythagoras.

Thrace isn't an island. It's the European Turkey and it's surroundings.
