@WIM an aboriginal is usually indicating a native population, which has maintained their culture and a relative homogeneity, while having the majority culture of the country being created by others (whether other indigenous peoples, or immigrants). That was my guess for the orange countries.

I know, but you said all former British colonies minus India were orange, which is what I was referring to in my post.
