Guess the Map II: witty sequel titles failed me

Why are Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland all flagged, presumably as "the Vikings", but not Iceland, the closest remaining country to the Old Norse?

Also, Finland has a completely different language to Scandinavian ones. Next map: (oh, and India is meant to be the same colour as the other grey ones - I coloured it orange at first, but then realized it fitted into the grey category and I couldn't find the exact shade of grey used on the rest of the map)

AIDS problems?

Doubt it. Chile should then be orange due to the copper, but it is grey.

Is the color orange in any way significant?

Something that the majority of Africa and the US agree upon? This could be hard.

I'm guessing that it is something that the UK and all the colonies differ on. GB is grey and all former colonies, except India are orange.

I'm going to guess countries with an existing native aboriginal population?

Malta, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Burma, Nigeria, Ghana, Belize...?

Anyway, you haven't got it. :p

Countries with significant ginger populations?

Ireland invented ginger.

Countries that do not have 1 official language?

Ireland has 2.

Countries with a high carrot consumption?

Carrots are one of the main ingredients in both versions of Irish Stew.

@WIM an aboriginal is usually indicating a native population, which has maintained their culture and a relative homogeneity, while having the majority culture of the country being created by others (whether other indigenous peoples, or immigrants). That was my guess for the orange countries.
