Anyway, it may be the answer anyway, or slightly altered to "percentage of population in the larger cities next to the rest". Although Turkey likely is far more rural than Greece. I mean the monster which is Athens supposedly has around 4 million people.

Yeah pretty much. It's % population in urban areas with over a million people. I told you guys it wasn't hard.

Yeah, but that is a bit misleading, i mean there are many one-city countries around (in Europe as well) Setting some barrier (eg 1 million) is imo too arbitrary for our prestigious and professional map quiz.

It's essentially, "% pop living in big cities" as opposed to "% living in cities or dense villages." There's a large enough difference between London and Lancaster or Perth and Darwin that I think it's a worthwhile metric. In some ways in can better describe the way people live than % urban does.
