No. I'll give a hint after some more guesses.

Do they have to be good guesses?

Political structure?
Last time a certain thing happened?
Aspirations to global domination?
Fondness for books by 19th Century authors?

...I got nuthin', but I'm the only one guessin'... :dunno:

Sorry for the assumption. But I wasn't sure and I thought you might have gone out of town or something.

It's fine. I probably should have checked the forum more often. Anyway, does your map have anything to do with British colonies since Brazil, Peru, Mauritania, and Palau are the only exceptions?

Repost. I've got nothing either.

It's not about colonies. The map is of something that each of these countries has. It's related to government.

If the US is in and Canada isn't, it's clearly democracy.

Yeah that's it...democracy.

I'm not really sure how I can give better hints without giving it away. It's a thing that each of these countries has and it's related to government.

:wallbash:

:hmm:

:dunno: ...bicameral legislature?

I keep thinking of ideas, and Wikipedia keeps disproving them. :(

Something related to the national constitution?

Capital cities that were specifically built from the ground up to be capital cities?

...or something

EDIT: Or maybe capital cities that have their own state/province, but it seems like DF in Mexico would be one, not sure.
