Preturn: Do some MM
IBT: Some French and Indian units advance
460 AD: Bombard and kill 4 MDI and a Longbow. Capture Rheims.
IBT: GA ends causing Elvis to riot so our FP does not complete.
470 AD: Lose 2 Elite units attacking 2 hp Archers
Capture Cherbourg. There is Saltpeter near Rheims and unconnected near Aspen. We have Captured Frances only source.
480 AD: Healing. I do kill some minor units. Pillage Salt (so if Rheims flips we don't get Musketeers - also want to continue to build Pikes).
490 AD: Still Healing
500 AD: Build Gorgon and Kauwaka.
510 AD: Capture Besancon.
520 AD:
IBT: Grenoble Deposes us (no units lost).
530 AD: Recapture Grenoble.
540 AD: Capture Hyderabad. We get a Leader becomes an Army. Capture Marseilles.
IBT: Babylon landing in the SE
550 AD: Abandon Rheims and replace it with Mountain Vale
We can see Amien, Lyons, and Paris. France only has 2 more cities past that. I am hoping none are island cities so we can eliminate France.
Notes:
We can soon send a knight Army across to Babylon. We have a 1 Knight Army in St Regis as well as a Knight. After we build the Knight in Salamanca, and we get the Galley from St Regis and Chondote, we should be able to send an Army across the sea. All units should meet in Chondote (Knights should go by land so they don't get sunk). We can load up the 1 Knight Army and the 2 knights and drop them off in Babylon territory in one turn. We can then start pillaging what might be the "other continent". Note that I wouldn't add a 4th knight. A 3 knight army is safe from any attacks at full health before tanks. We can move it off with Galleons rather than Transports if there is another continent, which is pretty likely.
The Knight army up North has only 3 knights. We can add one more if we choose. We have Spain and India to fight. Alternatively we can leave it at 3 to be able to move it when we get Galleons.
I did not go for Astronomy right away. I wanted to check with the knight army whether we need it. It is possible that Babylon territory connects with the rest of the world.
I kept French cities with the hopes of destroying France. Obviously, don't leave more than a single non-army unit in any city. Flips are only bad if you make them so by putting units in the cities. Our flip chances are reasonably high. We have two Settlers in the area to replace any that are not in the best locations. I would plan out where we want to place cities. If all goes well we can eliminate France in the next 5 or so turns. Keeping the French cities allowed us to expand faster than we would have otherwise been able to do. I want to move on to hurting Spain and India. Looks like there is a semi-choke up ahead which will be good (especially with the threat of Conquistadors).
Note that Hyderabad was Indian, not French.
A Bowman still lives in the SE from the landing. Not much we can do about it (this turn that is). I killed the other landed unit.
Spain does not yet have Astronomy, but should any day now. Remember that conquistadors are sneaky with a range of 6. I would keep an eye on Spain's tech so you know when that is a threat.
