HarlNESIII - The Decline of France

Orders so soon? What's the deadline again? I'm working on my DNES orders right now :(

Deadline is in 4 days, on Thursday, so relax and take it easy :)

The King may be Austrian, but he is also the king. You can probably influence him easily enough, but first and foremost he will consider what is good for himself (and his people). Don't expect him to come running to Austrias aid unless he sees the advantages in doing so.

@Harlequin

I can't find the stats for Turkmenistan. Or whatevr that Central Asian nation is.

Also where is Baluchistan? All I see is Afghanistan on the map.

And I can't find the stats for Rajputana either. And the Mughal Empire seems far too powerful. At this point it controls nothing more than Delhi and is effectively a protecrate of the British Empire.

We feel that trade would be mutually benefical for both our nations, and we desire that you open yourself to trade with us, so that we may both profit.

From: Qing China
To: Russian Empire

Considering your bordering of our country, it should be easy to conduct productive trade. We agree.

from Austria:

So are you interested in opening trade and hoping for prosperity between our mighty kingdoms? We would help you much with the new technological order if needed as well. All we wish is for friendship.

No Turkmenistan. Balochistan is just to the right of Persia, roughly where Pakistan is today. North of them is Afghanistan. Bordering both of these are the Sikhs. The Mughals have only Delhi and the small bit of land around it. The large nation in India are the Maratha.

Ahh...

You've horribly misplaced the nations.

The nation in Central Asia is far too north to be Afghanistan. It's capital is Samarkquand first of all and not Kabul, therefore it should be Turkmenistan.
Afghanistan is enirely occupied by both the Sikhs and Baluchistan respectively. The Sikhs own Kabul.

Delhi is occuped by the British, on your map, Delhi is near the Yamuna river the nation you have south of the Sikhs is Rajputana and its capital is Jaipur.
You have mistaken the Mughal Empire with Rajputana.

Lurker's Comment: Daoguang actually seemed more of an ultra-conservative then a reforming liberal azale ;) But of course, I'm not going to do anything. Just keep things "realistic" :p

He is right about India unfortunatly....I was beginning to get worried I accidently chose Afghanistan instead of Punjab.

Hey, I did the best I could with what I could find. Who cares about India anyway? ;) Let it be a lesson about the lousy maps on Wikipedia then :p Anyway, we'll leave it as it is. The butterfly effect along with massive intervention from penguins and polarbears have had a massive effect on the region ;)

Regarding Mexico City I didn't move it. Just kept it where the capital was in the Nes I took it from.

I care about India. I fixed your stats. You don't need to change the map only the stats just put these stats in and take out Afghanistan's, and the Mughal Empire's.

Mughal Empire (Vassal to Britain)
Ruler/Player: Alam Shah II / NPC
Capital: Delhi
Government (Efficiency): Absolute Monarchy (Tolerable)

The Mughal Empire is but a shadow of what it used to be. Most of the lands it used to command have now been taken by the Maratha and the English, and there are no signs of the decline ending anytime soon. The once mighty Mughal Emperor is a vassal to the British, owning only the city of Delhi itself and allowed a pension and tiny army.

Edit: Nevermind Silver has it covered. Get the Sikhs right for sure though, since they are the only one thats PC. (me!)

Heh, well, I did use the old map you used for your Nes that died when I went on vacation ;)

I'll change those stats then since it makes silver happy. I'll do it when I do the update. Until then you'll have to make do. And ok... I'll move Mexico city further north as well :p

Luiz: Wasn't there a city here yesterday?
Miguel: We must have gotten lost. It can't just get up and walk away, can it?
Luiz: Well... maybe it's some kind of Aztec or Mayan magic.

:p

@alex- Which is why I never play as China. :p You'd critique me to death.

Lurker's Comment: Iggy, I would never do that! If you died, who would update LINESII :p

OOC: Meh, giving this up before I cause too much harm. System is built too much around warfare for my position and aims to be much fun. Will lurk, have fun.

Do I have contact with anybody? (I'm Hawaii)

Yeah, with the major seafaring nations; mainly the English and the Spanish, but other nations know of you.

Sorry to see you leave Symph :( I'll balance the next one more towards peace, though I doubt it'll deter the people who like war. I'll see how this one plays out.

35 hours to deadline, but very little activity, so unless you're waiting for answers to PM's then start getting the orders in :)
