I shaved my armpits once to see just what the benefit was that the girls had discovered. It was actually incredibly comfortable... until two days later. CHAFFING, OMG! Anyway, I kept them shaved for maybe a month? Really a nice feeling actually as long as you kept it shaved. In the end, it simply wasn't worth the hassle.

Sadly, I admit I tried the same thing when I was 15. Exact same result.

I do extensive amounts of manscaping. I'll spend hours in the bathroom just so that the "W" on the "Warpus" that I spell out on a certain part of my body looks JUST right

I assume that was your beard, and you have the other letters etched in your chest hair right down to the pubes. Kind of like Sgt. Hatred, but with body hair.

I'll admit to being curious as to whether or not it was comfortable, but I'm glad I know now it's not worth trying.

Mind you, I have known some couples keep up a regime of mutual bodily harm for quite some time.

I keep a stubble beard (when I get around to trimming it). But stubble arm pit gets really scratch in a way beards can't because beards don't rub against flesh so much. Well my own flesh anyways.

Thanks for your input. Obviously if the man or woman prefers it like a bush, it's fine, but I really haven't found very many who like to wade through a sea of public hair. Not to mention it gets in your mouth (so I'm told).
