Help on Sid Game

Here is my glorious victory:
Pentium_Victory.JPG

I couldn't. Mechs were a nut too hard for Cavalry/Cannon to crack. Then, The Dutch and English easily captured my empty cities. Better luck next time, I hope.
And, of course, thank you for the save. Now, I'm going to start my own Sid game.

I just hope that you will win. Good luck! :goodjob:

Gyathaar- I'm assuming that you're winning if you haven't already won my game.
I am not playing the game.. I just wanted to see how quickly I could catch up by exploiting :D

Gyathaar- For kicks I reloaded the game farther back then tried the exploit. It's so cool! But I didn't got to steam power to reveal the coal location.

Pentium- Good try, micromanage your workers and it will come out better next time. If you start your own sid game, do pangaea! Also, the most important thing I've learned from my game so far is that you don't need temples early on. A flip here and there, so what? That 60 shields = 2 javalins which can take the city back. If I had built temples early on, I wouldn't have had time to attack Russia before the got pikemen, and I wouldn't have gotten the GL.

No, MM wasn't the cause, since most of the tiles were already improved, and I only set them to Shift-A. Perhaps I sould research faster and at least try to get RP before the AI build UN. It would be easier to capture it with Artillery than Cannon.

Ok, my own, not Own game will have to wait, beacuse I am going on a vacation for this weekend. When I'm back, I might focus on HoF, or Mission Sid.

You're right about the temples, they're expensive. But I don't like Mayan UU, Swords are a lot better and have the same cost. If you had them, you could capture entire Russia, without razing so much.

So what is this exploit I'm reading about but with no description whatsoever?

Looks familiar... but what is warrior doing there? Disband him ASAP.

But you have damn luck with steals. I know RNG is never fair to me, but when it comes to stealing techs, I never, NEVER get it. In my whole history, I only managed to steal a tech once. And I always choose "safely".

See you on Monday!

You can't build it if it comes from a prebuild where you:
- Rushed it (cash or pop)
- Chopped a forest
- Disbanded a unit
- (I think sold building for shields, but you can only do that after Recycling AFAIK)

The AI use a formula for judging wheather to attack:
(total attack)*1.5 + (total defense).
I'm not sure, but I think sheer numbers don't help you.

BTW, they have 100-200 Infantry, so that warrior will scare them fo sure. :D
