I guess it was just the RNG then... Also I noticed that when I pick random civ it is Scaninavia 5 times and any other civ once... But I'm sure it doesn't have anything to do with your mod.

:lol: I played the game twice ever since i released it till now, and i never had scandinavia as an oponent or my random self. :lol:

NEW patch released here.
(8MB)

Lots of things changed:
- wonder splashes are fixed by Snakelover
- Medieval Settler added at Currency (cost 6 pop ... that should slow things down - Colonist now costs 9 pop)
{Note: there is no way to make a settler type unit without the Join City action. :cry:}
- state religions got erased because the AI was too stupid to use them (and all the related wonders got "fixed" acordingly)
- space victory is now possible
And smaller things:
- Sphynx expires at Rise of Monotheism
- the civilopedia typos found by mxzs are fixed
- Radar Artillery comes at Computers, it has 2 movements and blitz ... you know what this means, 2 bombards per turn :D
- baloons rebase
- fianna expires sooner
- coastal fortress now have 0 maint. (also maybe you noticed that it is 3 times more powerfull than in the normal game, cheaper, and w/o maintainance ... maybe this way ppl will actually build it :p)
- conjurer renamed to master occultist, he now costs 1/2 less, is crappier overall and is obsolete at the rifleman

Yup, but it's not the BIG patch (it's just big in size ;)) ... which will be more like an expansion to my mod.

Nope, just the state religions. :) Which was a good idea initially (tho very few could understand it :D ) but the computer seems to make no sense in building a 1 shield cost wonder that makes 1 citizen happy in the city and allows lots of wonders to be built.
 
So did anyone play with the new patch ?
Are things going as slow as they should ?
 
I haven't had time to download and try it, though I'm really looking forward to giving it a test spin. Maybe this weekend.
 
Oh, and since i am going to start working on the expansion soon i should say that if anyone has any ideas of changing the unit's graphics into something else you saw on the forum and that looked beter i'll change them. Kuz i know very few units from around here.
 
Quick and off topic question: If I change the units properties in the biq using the editor (i like privateers to have bombarding capabilities), save the biq and reload a saved game will the changes take effect ? Or what should I do ?

Nope, it would not affect your savegame.
There's no way you can change any rules in this game. But if you change the biq with the editor and start a new game - then the changes will take place.
 
I think there's a spelling error in \...\Art\Units\AlmogavarS you forgot the final S in the folder's name and the game exits when trying to find Almogavars.ini.

:sigh: This is the gazzilion'th time i have to change that bloody unit.
But this time i looked around and the mod and everything looked fine. But i probably forgot to change it when i made the bigger patch.
