Hexette - 16x16 World Map 2016-10-05

bluebox: It should work now - was a tpyo in the URL.

Sorry for taking a week to reply. I've moved to Germany (Aachen - where do you live), and currently only have internet access via the Uni library.

Amenhotep7: For some reason, I never triggered a Domination Victory, despite as far as I could tell fullfilling both 2/3 of pop and of land area. Please tell if Domination works as expected for you - it would be nice to know.

So which one of the .bix's is the best one?

I'd like to try this out, and could youo tell me?

seems nice, anyway.

Oh, I just realised that There's only one choice for plain civ3... Gonna dl it. :)

 It didn't work properly! I tried it, but it started always on the same spot, in the ocean between australia and america... I think...:(

Any chances of fixing it?

TLC no offence, but everytime I look at your status I get annoyed. Its medieval not midevil, please change it, it has just been bugging for 5 months or so, please please change it(and yes I know, im perfectionist, and typo:blush: )

all best Yoda:)

Yoda: I know perfectly well that the correct spelling of the adjective refering to the Middle Ages is "medieval" (or "mediaeval"), but the spelling in my status is intentional - the guy may happen to be medieval, but he's also a bit evil; mid-evil in fact.

Wizard: Hm, the bic appears to be corrupt - I can't even load it in the Civ3Edit now. I'll see what I can do.

Actually, TLC, I got it to work by deleteing the other start spots than the ones in you screenie on page 1. :)

But the view is terrible. :( No city name tags, and the uparea of the screen is weird... But it's nice for fast games. :)

Haven't posted here in a while ;)... you could fill out some more area on the map using impassable terrain, that could solve some view problems.

Wizard: Good to hear that you got it too work. I for some reason cannot currently even load it in the Civ3 Editor (Civ3XEdit works fine), but that's of secondary importance. The view trouble is inherent in all undersize maps - I've heard rumours that C3C will fix it, but I'd not put too much store in that.

SolarFlare: That's an idea, of course. Is there any way I can copy the present map into a larger one?

Not that I am currently aware of... ;)

I got it to work. :) By deleiting the other starts than the ones in the page 1 screenie. :)

Just finished a game, and won by Domination in 900AD, IIRC... With 2579 points!:D

It was the first game where my culture area was bound around the world. :)

But the view is terrible! No city signs, units disappering etc... But it was fun, anyway. :) I guess the 20x20 map would work normally, but it's only in PTW...:(

Well I just got conquests, and Hexette is in it :). Congrats!
