Hitler & Mussolini

It seems there was a button included.. I just made a slight mistake in the XML.
Had to create a new leaderhead map at Art/Interface/Buttons/LeaderHeads and copy the Hitler.dds file there. Presto it works now. :crazyeye:
 
A little off topic, but what's the music for Hitler's leaderhead.
 
I wonder if we should add shaders to this guy. Or did coyote already do it?

I have no idea, the LH looks pretty perfect though right now. I wonder what it would look like with shaders. I'm a bit worried though, it might become TOO PERFECT. Like what if we awaken Hitler's ghost or something?

Bumping the thread because I have edited the greeting to eliminate the hand going in the chest problem plus I made it so he just flips the hand over the shoulder. I've also baked the textures to conserve space and added shaders. I should be able to upload later tonight but I found a glitch that needs fixing with the hands and I think I know how to add the flying bombers to the bg sky which IIRC we talked about doing before.

He's maybe a tad to bright, but otherwise okay I'd say.

I think you might be able to get rid of the red halo if you remove the NiAlphaProperty from the sky background (but make sure that you don't delete it at the same time from the building background thou).
 
Seeing the superb Hitler streamlined is great, but this thread's resurrection is also a reminder that Mussolini never got finished. He still has an abruptly-edged hat, a retextured suit with a blacked-out tie, and some very tacked-on medals. Obviously, you guys have a lot on your plates and priorities elsewhere, but it is something to keep in mind.

Good point on the alpha I'll look into it.

I thought he was bright too but messing with the light properties didn't help. I'll mess with the BG some more see if I can get it right.

And yeah I'd like to get mussolini fixed. I'll have to see where it goes in my queue.
 
No matter what I did the red is still there. something about alpha on alpha (even got a weird crash when removing alphas). So my next idea is just add a unit nif with the aircraft flying over.

Also, here is a change to the lighting. Just stole sitting bull's. The shadow actually works well with the chancery but it gets the torch flicker which is kinda cool. Maybe it needs to be brighter though.
