Welcome to the twelfth running of the Civfanatics Hall of Fame Challenge Series.

The Challenge Series returns as a collection of 8 games with a time limit of 4 months to complete them (from 1st December 2013 to 1st April 2014). The games are designed to (hopefully) be more defined than the usual gauntlet games and challenging in a different way than a general Hall of Fame game, yet far from impossible to complete. This challenge has a wide variety of games at multiple difficulties, from warlord to deity.

The winner will be the person who finishes all eight games and collects the most points along the way (10 for 1st in each individual game, down to 1 for 10th). An additional 10 points will be awarded to players that complete all games.

Questions and comments about the series in general should be directed here.
There are individual threads for each game in the Challenge Series forum.
Progress results for all games can be found here.

All of the games need to be played using version 3 of the BUFFY mod (BUFFY-3.19.003), found here. Standard Hall of Fame Rules apply to all games.

Dont understand, do I have to generate suitabel map myself?

Yes. The Hall of Fame is basically about the fastest win (or the highest score). You can play with any settings as defined by the "rules". To participate in a gauntlet or challenge game, your settings must conform to the settings defined in the challenge. As stated in several places, you can play any map only one time. Maps can be tried and discarded after one attempt for as many times as desired.

Would it be possible to relax the rules a little and allow good faith submissions? I gotta be honest my feeble brain can't get BUFFY to work

I had the same issue, just deinstall/reinstall the game and it should work without anything needed except buffy mod. Trying to make it work without having to reinstall was a big waste of time for me :)

Al I have to do is stop workers from pre chopping now when i play Forum games with the normal bug mod, haha

@Strickl3r
Making BUFFY and BULL work together is not that complicated actually because there's just 1 file posing a problem. Here is a post by Dhoomstriker that explains a very practical solution (with attached example).

EDIT: this might also help (© kossin)
