How is your EU3 Game going?

I started playing a game as the Ottomans on very easy and managed to get to 1571 before Austria declares war and send a completely unstoppable force.

At the moment Castile owns almost all of northern Africa, and somehow France has fallen apart.

I decided to start a new game as Delhi at the War of the League of Cambrai start, and conquered Rajputana, Gondwana and Kashmir by the mid-1530s. Immediately after I conquered Khandesh, I began to deal with the huge amount of rebels that had appeared, but 2 months before the autosave, Vijanagar (the only Indian country more powerful than me) declared war on me.

It's currently 1735. Relevant screenshot:

Every country east of Taungu and on the SE Asian mainland is my vassal, except Denmark, France and the Netherlands.

Bah, edit in the events folder so that the Christian Japan events can trigger with unified Japan and convert to Christianity. it's inside historical borders, and will give you good relations with the Euros, what is nice, considering you'll probably want to conquer China...

(it works, look some pages ago for my Japan game :p)

I don't want to conquer China, just conquer the coast, Korea and Manchuria, and vassalize the rest of it. :p

EDIT: Where exactly is your Japanese game?

My current Malacca game 1460. End Goal: Islamic China. Manpower and forcelimit are slowing me down D:.

Malacca can be a very good nation from what i've heard, have yet to play as them tough.

i'm thinking of showing a Brazilian game here, that had some interesting things happening.

I'm going to have to give up. Even with all my troops combined (which is about 100,000) I cannot defeat one of Austria's smaller armies (about 18,000).

What buildings should be placed in gold provinces? Marketplaces, Trade Depots, and such would seem to make sense, but I don't see where the multipliers would kick in.

What buildings should be built in overseas provinces to maximize tariff income?

Playing DW from Chronicles, btw.

Gold doesn't have production value, so it doesn't really help.

Whatever increases production value will raise tariff income.

Well it is either that, or Japan, but i am worried that Japan in this game requires endless amounts of time to unify, and that i can only expand after unification (never played as Japan so wouldn't know).

Of course i could just play again as the Byzantine Empire :mischief:
