Woe to the person who has to pay $40,000!

I go to public school... book fees and athletic fees are the only things I have to pay for.

I think I saw one for $25,000, I'm not really sure though.

Yeah, Exeter, Andover, etc. don't cost that much. I think the most expensive private schools are in New York City (since everything is expensive there), and some of them cost more than $30,000 in tuition, costing more than Harvard University. Pretty crazy...

Now, would that be a boarding school? I thought when you added everything up for Harvard, (room, board, meal plan, fees, etc), it was close to 50,000. I'll be DAMNED if my total fees are more than Harvard.

Where's Red. I bet he knows.

My school's tuition is $11,000, which isn't that much for the D.C. area private schools.

Highschool here is free.

Now, colleges can vary. Mine was something like $15,000 a year (mostly paid for by scholarships and state funds). My sister's college (also completely paid for by the college itself - they REALLY want her there!) is $27,000 a year.

A hundred bucks a year on food?
You're lucky.

I'm on the Federal program to have reduced lunch, so it only cost $0.40 per meal instead of the normal $1.60

Almost free, we have a few fees here and there that total about $50 a year.

American public school.

High school is such a complete waste of time, you'd have to be some kind of moronic douchcollector to want to pay for it (comment directed at North American people that pay for private).

University...yeah maybe. But even that's pushing it.

That's funny...when I went and paid for a school lunch, it was $1 for the full fee and $.25 for reduced, with many getting them free. Funny considering WillJ's comment about NYC prices. :p

Public school, very little, etc. There were some fees at the beginning of the year, but they totaled about $35 (with band being $25 of that).

$0

No fees since i was never into any of the teams or anything. Sports stink.

I had lab fees, technology fees, and lunch fees.

The lab and technology fees were around $180 per semester, and lunch costed me $3 per meal. Which is $15 per week, and $270 per semester, so $700 every year.

For my engineer school, I had to pay about 500 $ per year.
Rooms were available on the campus, and the final cost was 10 $ / month (actually, it was 100 $, but I had 90 $ of helps from the government).
