Nothing. But I got about 2500$ from the state in education support. So it would be minus 2500$ all told. I would have gotten more if I'd turned 18 earlier, but I started high school at a pretty young age so not much luck there.

Zilch. Free education FTW.

Public school is supposed to be free out here, but we end up paying fees and what not at the beginning of the year.

But back in California, when I was in highschool :old:, my parents didn't pay anything.

How do you know? It's not a public poll.
After i voted, i noted that i was the 1st one to do so. Civgeneral was the 2nd. I just find it curious that he hasn't voted when he first did the poll. Spent about $12000 a year for University.

High School was mostly free for me, since I attended a public school. I paid maybe 500 for all four years in fees, sporting event tickets, and books.

Now college, is another matter all together...I am being raped by AU.

My parents paid around 4,000 USD/year during my highschool years, and another 4,000 during my brother's.

This does not include books and other equipment.

Private school, ~$8200/year. Your other options are pretty much pointless.

Jesus man! Thats close to what I pay for college. Are Florida's public schools that bad?

Nada. My schooling is funded by the American taxpayer (never mind I'm not American, just a legal immigrant.) :)

Public school. $50 for book useage and other fees. And about $100 for school lunch.

I go to public school, meaning I / my parents pay virtually nothing (except for taxes).

I'd like to meet someone who pays over $40,000 a year on high school...

Are there even high schools like that? I dont think Exeter or something costs that much. The most expensive prep school in Ohio is MAYBE 20,000

i didnt have to for pay nothing..public school

i did spend alot of money on transportation and newspapers...

$2 a day for transportation for 4 years...

$.50 a day for newspaper...

believe me, it adds up quicky
