I do not drink soda most weeks. I'll have a sprite (plus a few refills usually) about once every two or three months. I only have it in restaurants, not at home. I usually just order water, I like more flavor if there is less flavor in the food.

6-8 cans of diet coke per day. I ran out on Thursday and only had 1. It was horrible.

Voted I count this in the multiple digits (Huge amount) per day since I'm drinking nearly 3 times the minimum amount on the previous poll option.

On a weekly basis, one to two bottles, with the bottles ranging from 6 oz (177 ml) to a half-liter (17 oz), but most commonly being about 330 ml (11 oz). And yes, I do measure them alternately in ounces and milliliters depending on the size.

So I voted less than 1 12-oz can per day, since I tend to have them when I feel like it, not just on special occasions.

I used to actively avoid soda, but started to like it after having it at parties in college and now enjoy it a la carte. I think getting accustomed to the carbonation was a large part of it, and I still prefer less-carbonated-than-average sodas.

I like when bottles are advertised here as 591ml. They're just the 20oz ones from the US. It's amazing how soda production helped me figure out metric. "350ml? So like a can (355) of soda!" "600ml? So like a 20oz bottle..."

One 20 oz soda a day has enough sugar to maintain 40 pounds of beer-gut style fat a year. I've read that diet soda has its own problems that, among other things, contribute to unhealthy weight but not from calories, obviously. Jury's out on diet soda.

Oh my...

I don't drink diet. Regular tastes so much better:p

Regular tastes like syrup.

Not to me. Dr. Pepper and Mtn. Dew rock:p

I will note, however, that I do like Diet Dr. Pepper. I still like Regular better, but I do like the diet version, and see only a small difference between them. As for other diet sodas, I think they're remarkably unflavorful as a general rule.

Soda? Don't you mean a soft drink. ;)

No, he means pop.

Any and all of the above. You know what I mean.

(For the record, "Club soda" ain't soda:p)

Rarely, When I go out to dinner, whether it be a nice restaurant or Micky D's I have soda, I rarely ever go out to eat :p

Me thinks me drinks no soda.

Change that, me knows me drinks no soda.

I picked special occasions...but seriously i don't see any special occasions to drink a soda. Just drinking like 1 per week. I prefer beer :)

On a weekly basis.

I usually have 1-2 Double Gulps (64oz) from 7-11 a week, but that's about it.

How on earth can you drink nearly 2L of soda in one setting? For me it is only 600mls, which is one plastic bottle. That is less than 1/3 of the size of a double gulp. By Australian standards that is a large serving for a single person.

Regular tastes like syrup, diet tastes like salt and metal. I'll drink regular every time. I like the sugar cane ones more, not for health preferences since it's not healthier, but because sugar cane tastes better than corn syrup.

Are the alternative sugars we could use in sodas other than fructose and sucrose? Could we have lactose sugar? Could we have glucose sugar? I'd drink those.
