How to disable tech Screen and autosend units to a specific point.

Hi there,

I'am a Civ4-newbie and have followed some threads - hoping to learn some something. I have watched a couple of youtube movies as guidelines and I have noticed that there is a way to shut down Leonard Nimoy every time you invent something. He says: "you invented xxxx", instead of the long version. How do I short this message, like this? I can't find anything in the menus.

And one other thing. I also saw that it is possible to autosend units that have been built in a city ta a specific point without having to redirect them everytime they are built. How do I do this?

Select the city and hold Shift while you click on a tile.

2) Shift and click, whilst selecting the city, on the tile you want your units to go to. A yellow circle should appear.

This happens while playing multiplayer. You can set up a multiplayer game with only one human (so it's like a single-player game) and this will be one of the changes. As a bonus, if you use Simultaneous Turns the AI will be working while you're thinking instead of for 5~10 seconds between turns which will save you a lot of time over the course of an entire game (at the cost of AI units moving from where you were going to attack them, ha).

set it to 1 and Spock uses the short version.

Indeed, that is what I did, glad to see the videos still getting hits while my only system that can do them is down .
