How To: Make Leaderheads! Ekmek's Guide

Hello Ekmek, hello LH makers.

Finally I've read Ekemk tutorial and I think it is a wonderful and useful tool.
I've learnt more things on blender, and surely I'll do LHs one day.

In the meantime I'm doing units, and after reading the tutorial, I've set blender with the import parameters suggested by Ekmek, simply because I always used the blender default ones, and they differ from the Ekmek ones.

Well, after a while, I encountered some problems working on the vanilla axeman, and I realized that these problems come from the import setup. Strange to say, but the final fix of my problems has been a third import setup, completely different from blender default and from Ekmek one.
The working setup to import vanilla axeman EXACTLY in the same position as you see it into nifskope, is the "use the force luke" one.

Does anyone know what it means and why it happens, and would it be interesting for LH production also?

If nothing else helps, I can try to shader it for you. Just provide me a working nonshader version and all the shader maps.

Ekmek, I'm sorry to bother you, but I really need your help. The problem is the usual unweighted vertices. I tried everything and I can't seem to find the unattached parts. I would appreciate if you could help me with it.
I'll try and upload the file later. I can't upload it now for some reason.

I finally succeeded uploading this LH. Check it out, I hope you can find the problem.

I barely found them myself. I did the hide step by step and barely saw this tiny unassigned piece (see pic) and since I found them I did a test export and attached the blend with the MISSING LINK assignment to the parts you need to delete

Ekmek, I need your help. I'm making a LH, but when I export the LH with Blender, appear the problem of Unweighted Vertices. I know the cause of the problem, but it's difficult to find the part that is not rigging. How do you find that part? For example: IgorS' problem was tiny, but hard.

well, in my guide i tell how i do it (in the trouble shooting section). I select a bone that highlights it and then go through each bone and then hide them what is left is what is unassigned. once i see that i either delete or assign it to a bone. it takes about 10 minutes.

Thanks, Ekmek. I still don't understand a part of what it was. I'll try finding this part myself, if I won't succeed I'll use your uploaded file.

EDIT: OK, I found these minor parts and deleted them. The LH exported. Thanks!
