si the summer is almost over *ducks* so my question to you: how was this summer compared to your other summers, stories and tales are encouraged!

I refuse to answer this question at the moment, because doing so would mean my summer has ended, when it still has more than a month left.

Lucky dog, I've only got like two and a half weeks

you have about a week (unless you count the wheather, then you have about -2 weeks considering your from chicago too)

Well, going by weather, there is no "summer" in Chicago, as we have only two seasons: winter and road construction. I can assure you that it is still road construction just by opening the window and taking my earplugs out.

Going by the definition of "time between school years", I have until September 18.

Best yet. Exemplified by the time I wasn't here, which is what drove me to leave. Which I haven't really done yet.

Hey Seleucus, I spent 8 hours in Chicago. God damn hurricanes. I guess you have a nice airport though. Its got moving sidewalks and very small versions of tons of stores and newspaper stores that don't actually sell newspapers.

Its pouring down even as I type this...

Sorry, but here in Australia isn't summer. However my summer in the begginer of the year was very good. I traveled from Brisbane to Sydney(980 KM) by car with my friend and we stopped and many beachs to surf.

I'm looking for the next summer, i'm saving money to travel to fiji. And after i will go back to Brazil and i will get drunk and go out every day.

Good summer for you in the north hemisphere.

I lucked out. Summer flew past, and I missed my connection.. oops! :(

My summer ends on 12th of September...I have to say that this summer was not very good...too much rain in Britain and then the mud slides that nearly brought a pagan town in Cornwall to it's knees. Well we have more flash flooding in the U.K...What a boring summer.

I had a great summer. I went to a cinema summer program at USC and had a great time. It certainly was better than sitting around the house for three months as it usually goes with me.

i liked my summer my summer was good i had a good summer

Chicago was amazing while I was there, the weather was just beautiful. Mid-70's, no humidity. Meanwhile in Kansas, it was a scorching 110 degrees on the heat index! Not a bad week to be in Michigan and Chicago.

My summer officially ended before the middle of August...sigh. At least I graduate on May 15th this year, nice and early.

you must have come in June or July, i don't think we broke 70 at all this August except for the last week

Bloody awful summer in one respect my supposed 'love life' as teenagers seem to like to call it and also my dissapointing AS level results

But in the partying side its been fantastic, two weeks of house parties at a mates house, a trip down to the new forest and just generally going to clubs.....

While i was down in the new forest i was woken up when a bloody horse run into my damn tent at 5am in the morning! It's the most awful shock to be woken up by a 1 ton horse crashing into your flimsy surroundings.

But the best is still to come the Carling Reading Festival wednesday- monday, the music is going to rock...

Going by weather, it's been an average summer here. Lots of afternoon t-storms with lots of rain though. Hasn't been too many heat waves this year (I like heat waves - warms the pool up nicely. Any pool temperature below 82 degrees (27.7C) is too cold for me).

Mty summer was great. I got back tax-money, we spent three nice weeks at my parents-in-law in Szczecin(very fine city in a very fine country) , and the weather was good most of the time.
As icing on the cake, I won my first game on Monarch...
