Yeah, also many games teach's you not only to think fast, but to adapt to a sitution faster. Many 1st person shooters (that have been blamed for kids killing people) helps you to learn how to adapt to what is happening within the game.. and make a good judgement on that sitution, before your character within the game dies.

Yes he did it took part in the Normandy Landings on Omaha beach and fought to Germany (he was a few miles away from the Battle of the Bulge when it happened) and took part in the occupation of Berlin. I love my Grandpap.

EDIT: By the way he was a Staff Sergeant o and he was like 10 feet away from Patton once.

Cool! My Grandpa fought in the Pacific. His whole company was wiped out by a Kamikaze hit when landing on Mindoro. He lived.

To all my sensitive consoles players,

Chill... I never said that console games were for stupid people. Heck, I'm a devout Rainbow Six player. What I mean is that the thinking level for CIV III is much different, and I think harder than most (not all) console games.

true, some concole games are for stupid people, but there are plenty that are not. I will say one thing though, every concole palyer i see is obese though while computer people are not often.

can we get off the PS2/console players are stupid?!?!?! Geeeze...I think a lot of us in this thread were pretty much bragging that our 5, 8, 11 year olds are actually playing civ...nothing more...get off the "stupid" stuff!

That combo is multiplayer civ. There's a reason Doc Tviolski (I have no Idea how to spell that) is the fastest civver around and his multiplaying is it. At least I think he's the guy...
