I have been predicting this for months....

He's only been pro gay rights and pro choice in NYC because he had to be in order to be elected. If he was seriously running for the Republican nomination he'd drop both positions like hot potatoes.
, anyone?

I doubt it. He wouldn't need to anyway. Who would beat him running the Religious Right view of those issues?
In the general election, nobody. In the primaries, Bill Frist.

Ohh, flipflop, I was stumped for a second. Yeah sure, I think he could pull off a flip flop like that, they do it all the time. He'd talk about how he'd 'grown' and changed his position. The blue hairs in the red states would eat it up.

I think Bill Frist would have a tough time in the primaries...but don't quote me on that two years from now.

We don't know what that image means, Raven.

Giuliani will have my vote for sure. He is exactly what this country needs right now.

Condi vs. Hilary!!!

It won't happen. I think this country is ready for a woman CANDIDATE, but I am not sure about a definite woman for president. (That is to say, Hilary running against a male might win, but I dont think both parties will field a woman candidate in the same election - which is a shame, cause I think Condi would do a decent job)

you know this guy had more than 1 affair, and is a little bit of a dirtbag right? Republicans would be hypocrites to support him after what they did to Clinton in his primaries

That's putting it mildly.

Republicans would be hypocrites to support him after what they did to Clinton in his primaries

Of course they would, but they're politicians.

I'm waiting for Romney to announce his candidacy.

its funny you mention ol' mit. I've been following him closely (us Mormons gotta stick together you know). At least one major conservative group (Focus on the Family) said they would refuse to donate money or campaign for him, since they dont think that Mormons "are part of the christian family message that we promote". Americans may be ready to vote for a catholic, or maybe even a Jew, but they sure arent ready for a Mormon president. 'specially not republicans.

Romney's about as likely as Pataki to win the nomination, and Pataki is busy dying. (Well, I exaggerate, but you get the point.)

Nor will Guiliani run for President. Unlike McCain, he has no "redeeming qualities" to the far (religious) right, a group that basically has a strangehold on who the Republican Party nominates largely because they are so vocal. There would be a smear campaign like you've never seen before if Guiliani tried to get the Republican nomination, and he would ultimately lose to some idiot like George Allen or Sam Brownback.

Wait, is it kosher for a Democrat to vote across their partylines for a Republican?!.

From what I've viewed of your beliefs you've always seemed to me to be more in line with the Republicans than the Democrats.

Some states allow you to vote for candidates from other parties in the primaries, the rules vary widely. You could also register as a member of the party whose primary candidate you want to vote for to help him to get to the general election.

Is anyone remembering his messy divorce and mistress? The social conservatives will find him too difficult to swallow.

Has anyone heard if Colin Powell has expressed any interest in running?

He and Condi Rice or McCain in some combination would be a powerful ticket.

Just anyone but Hillary.

Bingo. While I recognize how well he did in New York, I simply could not ever support him for the Presidency due to his moral lapses.

 You serious? That's an asinine position to hold. I've met few people who, as a whole, strike me as more moral or decent than Mormons and the various offshoot denominations. I may not agree with the Book of Mormon, but I certainly wouldn't object to voting for a Mormon just because he/she is a Mormon.
