IGN Civ 6 stream live (ended)

The interviewer is great; he knows Civ V well and wants to cut through to the good information. And you can tell he's frustrated because the interviewee wants to rehash the stuff we already know from Civ V.

Religious Victory screen:

they just showed the religion victory screen. To win a religious victory, you need at least 50% of all cities following your religion.

It's a little more complex than that - all civs must have more than 50% of their cities following your religion. Sounds like the same thing but it's not - prevents you from spamming cities of your own or conquering opposing cities through force :mischief:

I am so pleased to see a Civ with 7 cities on the map. Got really tired of looking at those puny empires from the previous videos.

Granted, I'd like to see even larger empires, but this is a step up. Ya'know, in terms of presentation.

in this build we finally see what is being produced next to city name again!

Yes its a big improvement! Especially like seeing the continous borders and not cities dotted here and there across the landscape with wilderness in between. Sure that is still the case even today. But every land on earth basically is within someones borders.

Thanks. I posted based on the quick glance I saw of the screen. I realized after the fact that I probably did not get the details 100% right.
