Imageshack

For the past several months I have trouble viewing images hosted on Imageshack. They would load half way, then stop. Sometimes refreshing works, sometimes it doesn't.

Doesn't seem to happen with other images hosted elsewhere. Has anyone else notice this?

It's awful slow at my end, too. One time a picture took over an hour to upload. I'm not sure what's been up lately.

I haven't. And I use Imageshack quite often. And I haven't seen it recently complained about in places where it is used heavily daily. It's not perfect, but has been better than the other hosts. However, if the image was hosted more than 2 years ago, it's a crap shoot whether the links will still work.

I haven't used imageshack in a really long time. All my images go to photobucket or imgur now.

Nah, it doesn't really work, as it's to do with the connection.

Don't use imageshack, I can't view imageshack.

I've always had trouble with imageshack, pictures don't load, it tries to start all sorts of popups etc, browser makes no difference. So I use photobucket and have had no problems with that.

problem is Photobucket has bandwidth limits too, and everything you upload is saved in your account (thus easily found by scraping)

It's why I use imgur, which has no bandwidth limits and as long as you are not logged in, your uploads arent linked to you.
