Imperia Mobiana

*mutters something about not even controlling all the Lylat system, much less an entire galaxy...*

Meh, I overreacted when it came to the army. I guess I can always raise another. BUT MOVE IT TO DINGO TERRITORY (Same with fleet).

10 into Military 2. 5 to raise an army in which my old army was. 2 towards Eco 2.

Angel Island

imperiamobianaangelisla.png

-Dark Legion: Blackish Gray.

-Brotherhood: Red.

-Dingo: Orange.

There are 55 provinces, 7 of which are neutral and the remaining 16 spread equally between the other three factions.

Spoiler Basics :
You can sponsor any of the factions, each having their own benefits/downsides:

-The Brotherhood will use their powers to make your Chaos Emeralds more potent, so they have +0.5% chance of producing a Chaos Crystal for each territory they own. So right now, +8%. The Brotherhood will try to steal your ME shards if they reach 50% of the island's mass. You can't get them back short of conquering the Brotherhood.

-The Dark Legion will put 0.1 point towards your tech per turn based on how much land they own. So right now, +1.6 gpt. If they reach 50% of the island, they will look outward, trying to steal the Master Emerald shards, and you can't get them back short of conquering the Legion.

-The Dingos are too stupid to have much use. However, they won't try and steal your emeralds either, and may assist you militarily if they triumph.

Every turn the factions will do war with eachother. You do not need to meddle in the Island's affairs if you don't want to. Every faction receives ten armies per turn, or less if they have fewer than ten territories. Your sponsorship will give them extra armies; you can intervene directly on their behalf or just fund them(5 gold per army).

---

Completely separate from sponsorship is hunting for goods like gold, gems, etc. which the Island is full of. It costs 1 gold a try to find riches, with a 10% chance of success; success yields either 1-20 gold or 1-5 Chaos Crystals. To make this fair, anybody with a navy can access Angel Island even if they couldn't reach it otherwise. Your success is upped to 25% if you are sponsoring a faction as their forces will assist you(and of course if you request their help), but you will have to split the booty and thus get the greater half.

---

Emerald Readers: To use a complete Master Emerald, you must recruit either a Legionaire from the Dark Legion or from Albion(the island in the landlocked sea next to Link's nation). You MUST have access to the island to use these.

---

If the Master Emerald is returned to Angel Island, it will rise into the sky and become inaccessible until the Modern Age; everything will also be reset politically. Your vessels, if in the area, will be teleported back home.

Aid:

Dark Legion - 0 (Numenor, New England, Tails)
Brotherhood -
Dingos - 0 (Green Hill)

The Dark Legion gives 2.3 in tech credits to its allies for this turn; it expects either an army from them or 5 gold come next turn for aid to continue.

Who attacks first will be determined randomly.

Dingos go first, then Brotherhood, then the Legion.

The Dingos and Brotherhood have signed a temporary ceasefire, to push back the Legion.

12 Dingo Armies, 14 Brotherhood Armies, and 19 Legion Armies will do battle.

The Dingos send 3 armies against 2, with 1 victory, 1 defeat, and 1 draw. 2 go against 1, with a victory.

3 go against 3, with 2 defeats and 1 victory.

The Dingos call it a day, with 3 defeats, 3 victories, and a draw. One province gained.

The Brotherhood goes next, with 14 armies. Perhaps they will have better luck?

3 on 3 results in 2 victories and 1 defeat for the Brotherhood!

The Brotherhood ends up calling it a day after one province taken to avoid huge losses. The Legion is left with 13 armies.

The Legion orders a full-scale assault now that it has nothing to lose!

4 victories, 1 draw, 4 defeats. 3 provinces are captured.

Update

imperiamobianastats.jpg

The Year is 3 PC. The Chaos Emeralds are increasingly becoming kingmakers, with Adabat, Mexico, and the Dragon Kingdom all in possession of one. But as chaos nears its debut in the East, will the emerald be enough to contain aggressive states like the Raiju, Yagyu, and Venomians?

Events:

Yagyu had a border dispute with Dragon Kingdom! Casus belli shall be good for one turn.

Revolts:

None triggered.

Notes:

-Inactive players are automated now. They will act as NPCs.

-Chaos Emeralds now give a minor bonus - you can use one to teleport ONE, and only ONE, army, anywhere in the world, via Chaos Control. Generally, this can be used to flank enemies, but is really just a way to fortify your borders more quickly.

Armies move to frontiers (stay in same region, just move in my provinces towards closets nation), 2 navy guys move back (why the crap did they move there?), trade offered to green NPC guys.

11 + 3 vault tech into Econ 3. Isolationism and Authoritarian adopted.
13 to Angel Island to look for crap.

how did i get 20 provinces, 5 armies and 5 navies?

Orders: 15 to army, and 5 to economy.

Claims: (light purple)

After seeing the Legion getting there buns handed to them by the Brotherhood. The New England Republic have sent in the Expeditionary force to aid the Legion to push back the Brotherhood, who's techs are completely worthless to them due en part of, lack of "special crystals" to make them potent.

Map Claims:
iotmap.png

Bank 10 into military, 5 into economy (Accumulated TC from Legion goes to here as well), 1 into savings, remainder goes into aid for the Legion

Claims:
IMexpand3-1.png

Money:
15: Finish Military 1 and 2.
5: Make an army, give to the Dark Legion.
2: Bank (Support?)

Claim one territory to the east (the top one), and reach to the ocean in the west (the upmost territories).

Purchase Econ 3, adopt all available civics and powers, spend 1 credit on searching for things on angel island.

Adabat

20 Into Econ 4
3 into exploring the Island

Adopt Isolationism and Authoritarianism. (Can I adopt on the turn i reach tech level 5?)

Venom, would you kindly sign a trade agreement between our people and yours so that both of us may prosper?

Claims/Troops:

Do I have a chaos Emerald? Your post Says I do, but your chart doesn't list one by my country. Same goes for Mexico.
Is Chaos Control 1/turn/emerald or 1/turn with at least 1 emerald.

Numenor's Search:

-13 gold is spent; nothing is found

---

Mathalamus:

You would've had 20 provinces if not for being run out of town.

---

Green Hill's Search (I'm assuming the money that went to the army is used for this)

-4 gold is spent; no results are found

---

Glossurica spends 1 gold, and finds nothing.

---

Techno:

You have the Violet Emerald now that I adjusted one of your claims in Downunda... You also have 2 Master Shards alongside it. Downunda still has 1 Master Shard as well. Adabat's going to be a Chaos Power.

4 gold is spent looking; nothing found.

---

FAQ:

You get one Chaos Control per emerald, per turn. So 2 emeralds means you can teleport 2 armies.

We need:

-Claims from Double A
-Claims from Omega
-Orders from everyone besides CivG, Technojock, Aiolos, Math and Maxa

why do i get the feeling that, before this game is over there is only about 2-5 humans playing the game and a bunch of NPCs?

Claims!

Also, alliances be damned, the Brotherhood is a bunch of elitist pricks who's idea of "helping" to take the objects they're boosting! At least the Legion gives investors tech! have my army attack the Brotherhood provience next to it.

*reads the rules*

This isn't the place for RL politics, Link. :p Off-Topic is.

I really don't wanna infract anybody(I'd be a horrible mod), so please stay on topic.

Exploratory teams find interesting ruins West of Obius

a small exploration team lead by a Jedi knight and her padawan, plus a few Mobians has found some ruins of what was obviously a large town, in the center of a large road network. the Ruins are relatively intact, being mostly stone. some large buildings are still intact, so the team picked one, and found that it was a large place of worship. there, they found out what building, and thus, what city it was:

Cathedral of Madrid, founded in 1561 AD

"so... this is Madrid, whats left of it." the Jedi knight has said. "this city was obviously large, with this huge cathedral, and other stone buildings. this was apparently the planet of Earth, a planet that we chose to leave alone due primitive humanoid development. i guess they were driven nearly extinct, with other animals gaining sentient and taking over. such a shame, human culture was interesting..."

Soon, they found a library, and searched it for a map of some kind. they found one of Iberia and the surrounding area, with Madrid clearly labeled. they brought the map to Obius for study.

Aatto the Mongoose loked with extreme discontent. Angel Island was a bore; all they were doing was excavatging. Where was the fighting, the glory, the honor? Not only that, but the Green Hill Expiditionary Army went into a huge crisis if they even were approved. "Those damn sissies can't get anything done. Plus, those Hedgehogs, while fast, couldn't last 10 seconds in the army like we Mongooses do". Although counting only as 3% of the entire population, the Mongooses made up 90% of the armed services, with the other 10% mostly being humans with primitive weapons. "I bet these stupid gems are overhyped, anyways".

But then, the news Aatto wanted to hear came. The general reported that the GHEA (Prounounced "Gah") is to attack the Brotherhood, distipe the uneasy truce between them and the Dingos, who they were helping. The Council apparently refused to work with them, as they wanted exclusive rights to the gems and even threatened to steal them if they don't. The Legion also demanded the gems, but was willing to loan scientists in return, so the Council politly refused their demands. The Dingos were the only faction not do demand anything for their help, and so the Council had a pro-Dingo policy. This conflicted with the human New England, who were Legion suporters, but also disliked the Brotherhood. Isolationists and Mobians racsist towards humans feared that supporting the Dingos would make Green Hill "a New England state", although their voice was small in the Council...

"Hey, Aatto, stop dreaming, we're moving", said a squadmate of Aatto. With a quick sharpining of his claws, he got up and marched. To battle.

Spoiler Aatto :
335Zangoose.png

Yes, that's right, he looks like (and that is a picture of) a Zangoose

Also, Aatto is one (Out of three!) variations of Adolf in Finnish. If you don't see where this story is going, then I pity you
