Anyway, I vote for the Star Destroyer since its batteries of directed energy weapons would shoot down any nuclear missiles that dare to even come close. It's also manned with more crew, and can single-handedly bombard any planetary surface into glass from orbit.

The BSG is out manned, outgunned, and out provisioned. Hoping for it to win here is futile. Outside of the question, the BSG would probably opt for retreat instead of fighting a duel.

Each turbolaser on an ISD (of 60 total) fires shots that yeild multipe gigtons worth of energy. The idea that "nukes" would be considered a threat is extremely stupid.

Also, ISDs have shields, BSG doesn't.

I voted for Battlestar simply because everything in the above post is false. Crazy Star-Wars fans act like everything in their fiction/universe is way overpowered/awesome, no matter what the comparison is against. Star Destroyers beat Protoss. Star Destroyers beat Shadows. Star Destroyers beat Goauld. Etc...

The fact is that it's extremely evident in all of the Star Wars films that none of their weaponry is that powerful. And then zillions of books/videogames/whatever contradict each other.
