Imperium Offtopicum IV: Third's the Charm?

Who controls Basque again?

Basque Country is three provinces strong, wedged between NCSA Aragon, France, and of course, Marian Iberia.

It's an NPC like Mali.

Hey, Mad Man, can you post your PAE again?
Thanks.

Do you man this? NorthAfricaMap.png New Caledonia is also part of my PAE if PAE stands for what I think it does.

So it's that very very light blue country in the north?

Proposed area of expansion. Where is New Caledonia?
Oh, and thanks; we don't interfere, awesome. :D
Oh snap! Nippon shall wryyy!
OOC: Explanation of Nippon, please.:p

Marian Proposed Area of Expansion. These are the main objectives of the Marian Federation as of this moment - in red.

actually it still is a French territory, and unless Japan claimed dominion over all Oceania I can't see how this would be upsetting to him.

actually it still is a French territory,

By former, I meant it was French up until the Cataclysm. ;)

You never know with Japan... though so far, they seem uninterested in Australia, so this might extend to New Caledonia too, hopefully.

SouthAmericaFuture.png

Given current trends and barring unseen events, the independent, foreign-affairs centered, pacifist think tank Olive Wreathe has theorised what South America will look like in the future.

They studied South America, not the Caribbean islands, even those close to South America. ;)

If we had to guess, however, it's likely the Guineans would island hop to Trinidad given its proximity.

I never asked this before: what is the nation occupying Madagascar and the light blue nation occupying three parts of Africa?

Oh, I see. So you're in Madagascar (Antananarivo is the RL country's capital, right?)...and the other one is the NPC we were just talking about...okay...

Here's a map:

Just so you all know, the pink in Brazil is French occupied Brazil, the gray is secularist Brazil, the burgundy is theocratic Brazil, and the pink in Africa is the land claimed by the colonists who fled Brazil before the war. They are Brazilian but are not involved in the fighting and are neutral between the groups.

And, I'll be posting my own news for now.

Oh, I crossed with the Marian Federation, but by logic, my settlers were there, I'd say by logic Tan moves, but as I'm in civil war what can I do?

Name (Offical): The Zulu Confederation of African Self-deliberation
Name (Short): The Zulu Impire

Motto: "For the Hearth and the People"

Capital: Anywhere in South Africa slightly away from borders of other players

Development rating: Third World

Economy and Industry: Lighty industrialized. Has homegrown fertilizer and machinery factories to promote an agricultural rebound. Economy powered by precious gem mines such as diamond and gold. The women are allowed jobs to keep industry going as the men fight.

Political setup: A confederacy of local self-appointed chiefdoms and their elected Councilers. The Grand Counciler and the Grand Impi Chief supposidly are equal, but the Councilors can rally the political will easier, while the Impi controls the army. Together they are unstoppable.
Social policy: Largely a liberal and tolerant society.

Foreign policy: The Zulu Impire seeks to control as much as Africa as possible, bringing law, order, schools, and mandatory military draft. They hope to upgrade to a Parliamentary system and are currently hostile to all ex-african colonies as well as non-organized areas.

Army: Mandatroy service of 1 Year frontline or 3 years support for all men from 18-25. Additional service gives pensions, government protection, and promotion. As they have all served sometime or another, they can all be called up with treasury money in case of disaster.

Air force: A largish, but outdated scouting squadrons as well as a few high-tech jets.

Navy: None, they are currently landlocked.

Do you support the Brazilian Secularists or the theocrats?

Charles Li, I recently went to Africa with colonies because my citizens are fleeing from a war, please allow them to remain.

EDIT: (To Mad Man) If we overcome, we secularists would be happy to take some of Portugal.

Also, if you are negotiating with me (To everyone) please specify whether you are talking to the theocrats or secularists.

Because I have on multiple occasions defended you, saying that you were working on a clean slate, that Byzantium was gone, and you turn around and say that? I could very easily consider that an insult.

ever hear of the internet? Byzantium posted the Basil class designs for everyone to use. its still there, and we have the design.

the data-center for that specific website is located on Asian Constantinople, whom the Marian's control.

regardless, we have a hard copy of the design, and we will start building one Aircraft Carrier of that design.

We lean towards the secularists but remain neutral for the time being.

The German Republic tends to side more towards the secularists instead of the authoritarian theocrats.
