after Emperor Matthew Barabas IV as signed an order to have over land conessions, the rioting in Constantinople has gone out of control, and members of the Rouge army sucessfully entered the national palace sparking a pitched battle.

the Byzantine forces lost, and rebnels are now in control of the palace. the Emperor has being charged for 'submitting to the weak and inferior people of Venice and was executed on the spot. the new leader, a known anti venetian Radical has placed himself has the new leader of the Fascist Byzantine Empire.

Theodore Komnenos ( which may or may not be related to the other Komnenos) had this to say: My people! i have executed the weak leader of Barabas IV for conceding to Venice and the international community! we will liberate our lands from our worst enemy, namely venice. and i promise you this: i will destroy their military but not invade their mainland. preparation are already underway.

there are a lot of discontent about the Execution of Barabas IV, saying that it was completely unnecessary and that forcing him to do the same would be just as good, and that they executed the last true Byzantine Royal Dynasty. the rioting continues in all major cities as citizens refuse to work.

Theodore has instituted martial law and tried to regain control of his Empire. however since most of the army was loyal to Barabas, they refused and retreated to Eastern Anatolia, wherein the province prompty seceded and begain to wage civil war with the Evil Byzantium

Because otherwise what you've done amounts to scorched earth and is a violation of mobility rights. The mere suggestion that you're actually packing up your buildings and dragging them somewhere else is totally ludicrous. How much will that cost? Where are they going to be relocated? Then we have the issue that these citydwellers are being relocated quite likely against their will. If they wish to remain Byzantine citizens then they may of course move of their own accord; but again, suggesting that the entire community will emigrate and put immediate strain on the homeland infrastructure is absurd.

the buildings and people will be relocated to Constantinople, which can support around a 124 million people. not indefinitely, but for a time. the other major cities which has 3.5 million people can hold up to 5 million indefinately. so there is a lot of space.

You missed the point again. A migration of that scale is unfeasible for more reasons than living space.

Both Byzantium's do not recognize the new battle systems, and both of their generals agreed to use the old system.

there are advantages and disadvantages to both sides:

Rouge Army Byzantium
Advantages:
1. lots of resources
2. lots of land space
3. lots of people, and industrial capability
Disadvantages:
1. unpopular with venice and the rest of the world.
2. currently facing a massive revolt
3. barely any soldiers ( 500,000 regulars, no reserves)
4. no navy. im serious.

Republic of Byzantium
'Advantages:
1. virtually 100% loyal person
2. the Republic decided to let Venice keep their lands
3. large military ( round 1 million active, 2 million reserves)
4. more popular than the Rouge Army.
5. controls all the navy
Disadvantages:
1. controls a sparsely populated province, largest city is Batumi
2. has way too much soldiers for a nation this size
3. barely any indsutrial capability or farming capability
4. almost no resources
5. not in a core area of Byzantium.

Since Nuclear kid is assumed out of the game, I recoloured Byzantium to his black hue to identify Komnenos' régime.

If we can all agree on this as the latest Milestone, we can commence combat operations.
