West German States join Prussia

With France's recent annexation of Elsass and Lothringen and their recent broadcasts, the German states of Baden-Württemberg and Rheinland-Pfalz along with Nordrhein-Westfalen have voted to join the Kingdom of Prussia in order to prevent annexation by the French. The people celebrate, and the men rejoice, about this decision. And a new wave of nationalism seems to be spreading over the German people. Unified with their Austrian brethren under the Römisches Reich, and as the former German states decide to join Prussia, only one thing can truly be certain, a new Germany is on its way.

The Hanseatic League Reformed
The cities of Hamburg and Bremen have joined with the city of Lübeck to reform the Hansa. Sponsored by the Prussian government this new Hansa has been formed as a response to the MECTU. The Hansa's goal is to "Unite the nations of the Baltic and Northern Atlantic into a trade league fostering the exchange of cultures, ideas, and tongues by creating a safe and fair trading environment." Prussia would like to invite the states of the North Atlantic to join in on the Leauge, and would also like to invite the Platonic republic and the members of the MECTU who wish to become observer states to this newly formed Hansa.

Andreas Laskaris has ordered the Constantinople, and other Roman ships and transports back home. The Emperor took a closer look, on advice from the UAR ambassador, and discovered that Japan isn't expanding peacefully, or have peaceful intents.

the Emperor fully admits to being very inobservant, and will not make that mistake again. hopefully. meanwhile, the Emperor will keep watch on what the Japanese companies are doing to the Roman Empire.

We do apologize if this made a rift between us.

Please be more decisive in your decisions. You cannot change your policy every 24 hours. It shows bad leadership and will worry those who want to invest in the Roman Empire, as well as your allies who will not trust you. We want to ask you if this is your own decision or something imposed by UAR.

The United Arab Republic is concerned that Japanese intervention in China is not motivated by humanitarian interests, as Tokyo purports, but is an aggressive campaign of territorial conquest to exploit the country's natural resources and enslave the populace. As Japan has not publicly acknowledged these criticisms....

Japan has not replied to this criticism, since we believe that it is baseless and that your argument collapses by itself. First of all, Japan has send military forces to the Mainland in order to end the bloodshed of the civil war between the Warlords. Of course, there may have been some deaths during the military invasion, but those were minimal and the price was worth it: now there is peace in the region and millions of Chinese are freed from war and hunger.

As for your second argument, we do not see how Japanese investments in China are bad. Many Chinese people have no job and with the creation of new industrial complexes and facilities, new jobs are created and they are given jobs. With their new jobs, many Chinese people who have lived in poverty can now change their lives for the better. So, Japan is helping the Chinese people, not enslaving them.

Good day citizens.

Violence continues to spark in Vietnam as Takis Papadakis, the chief representative of the Philosopher Council, has dictated plans for a deployment of warriors of the Protective Caste in lines with a purposed UN peacekeeping mission which will help not only ensure medical supplies but also allow for peace enforcement if necessary. This comes as the UN debates on whether to sent a mission or not while the Platonic Republic has vowed to deploy one of their own generals as a leader among the peacekeeping forces. This comes as Japan continues its own operates in what it describes as "saving Vietnam from a civil war" while critic proclaim it as a front for expansion. The Platonic Republic has declared neutrality on that issue but will seek to ensure peace is returned to Vietnam.

The gold standard has been officially adopted by the Platonic Republic in preparations for the Mediterranean Economic, Commerce and Trace Union policy in adoption of a benchmark. With the United Arab Republic having its currency becoming the reserve for the M.E.C.T.U the matter will likely adopt to, as one of the Platonic Republic's founders Eleni Agne of the Governing Caste stated, "a way of wellbeing for the citizens of the Platonic Republic and for the harmonic relations between members of Mediterranean Economic, Commerce and Trace Union."

New Olympia has begun its planning processions with the seeds of the construction of the Olympic swimming facilities, Poseidon's Court, being sewed. Takis Papadakis of the Governing Caste has himself has stated optimism that the Olympics, if approved, would renew a call to global peace which with the crisis in Vietnam is something most necessary. Andreas Xanthopoulos, who speaks on behalf of the Productive Caste to the Philosopher Kings and Queens, stated that the Olympics will, although have the burden of setting up costs, "will bring a economic renewal to the Platonic economy and bring a spirit that would rise all castes to justice. Workers, warriors and philosophers will all take joy in what can only be described as a national phoenix." This comes as

Building crews of the Productive Caste have been set sail to Panama where they are to help the Canal Zone Reconstruction Company in the rebuilding of the Panama Canal. The project would help shipping, which in turn help merchants like those of the Productive Caste which will in turn benefit the Platonic Republic and other nations. A similar party has been commissioned ready for help in the Suez Cannel for the stated reasoning of the Panama but for the benefit of ensuring Mediterranean shipping is given a additional boost.

its our own decision, as the UAR isn't interested in imposing the Roman Empire. we could have stuck with it, but, vietnam is too far to be bothered with.

NEW RHODESIAN ARMED FORCES TO ADOPT NEW WEAPONRY
In light of resource scarcity in the immediate territory of Rhodesia the NRAF is to adopt a new weapon in favor of old assault rifles.
The weapon, manufactured by the Salisbury Armaments Division (SAD), is named the Rhodes mk1 Rifle. The weapon is to be single-shot to conserve ammo. It is breech-loaded and chambered in .22mm.
For now only the NRAF and Mozambique Armed Forces (MAF) are to adopt the weapon. No deals have been made with any other nation and the SAD is to have executive rights to who it sells the new rifles.

Andreas Laskaris, Emperor of the Romans is somewhat...offended, after having watched that on TV.

however, he cannot argue or debate to save his life.

therefore, Constantinople warns Paris not to carry on with the abuse and attitude towards males. otherwise, we will have to bar travel to and from France, and withdraw our diplomats.

Unlike certain countries, France values free speech. That means tolerating extremist view points on television, even if it makes you feel uncomfortable or offended. Also, what abuse? If you're referring to our castration policy, it's definitely a net gain for our male populace. All we do is liberate the men from their hormones; most of them are generally happy about the procedure once they get used to not being bombarded by testosterone. And it's not like we're emasculating them or anything; we're not barbarians. Maybe the Emperor should look into reintroducing castration in your own nation; the Eastern Emperors used to love doing it to keep wayward vassals in line. ;)

I take it Charles is the previous story's guy.

That would be 100% correct.

The Platonic Republic will gladly watch both nations argue while we have plenty of pop corn while living in a overtly strict totalitarian caste system which will arrest you for wearing the wrong platonic colouring the most just society.

To the Leader of the Republic of Gangnam Style,

The United Arab Republic is concerned that Japanese intervention in China is not motivated by humanitarian interests, as Tokyo purports, but is an aggressive campaign of territorial conquest to exploit the country's natural resources and enslave the populace. As Japan has not publicly acknowledged these criticisms, and as Gangnam is currently the only other party to the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere, we wish to inquire as to whether you have reliable information on the situation in China. If the plight of Chinese citizens is a dire as we believe, we implore you to use your leverage within the alliance to discourage Japan from perpetuating wanton bloodshed.

Respectfully yours,

D. Amirmuaz

We don't know jack about what Japan is doing. Not that we actually care.

Breaking News!

Monaco condemns Japanese aggression

Emperor Peter II addressed the nation from his palace half an hour ago. "Monaco, along with every civilized nation in the world, is appalled by the violence in Vietnam before the intervention. However, we do not approve of the Japanese government using the tragedies in the region for territorial gain. Monaco condemns all unjustified expansionist aggression." The Imperial Diet voted 9-4 in favor of the Emperor's condemnation of Japan.

The Folly of Men becomes best seller

Monacan feminist Alice Pierrot returned from vacation to France with copies of The Folly of Men: History and the Sexes by Annette Renard. The books were distributed and passed on after read. The book was more popular than anyone expected, and thousands of more were ordered from France. The reaction was not what Pierrot was expecting. The book was lampooned all over the Monacan media, and people read it to laugh at the theories in the text. Empire Entertainment, a Bordeaux-based film studio, announced that it plans on producing a comedy, Folly, based on the book. It will be released on February 28, 2105.

well... i suppose you have the right technology and support or whatever to do it properly without breaking things even more. maybe if you released a few answers as to what exactly you do, it would ease the concerns for the remaining males in France, and males elsewhere.

its not like you cut a guys nuts off, inject him with testosterone, and then release "him" back out, right?

Castration is only for people who did major sexual crimes. not rebelling vassals or pretenders. they get executed.

Short history of the diplomatic history of the Indo-Persian Kingdom

Since the union treaty between Nova Pakistan and the Holy Zoroastrian Kingdom 12 years ago, the Indo-Persian Kingdom was isolated from the world. It had no neighbouring countries excepting for chaotical post-war nations on which to expand into.

However, in the year 2104, things began to change. With the Roman Empire recognition, they began to realize that they weren't the only survivors. They later found out that there were many other nations that survived after further investigation from the towns they took over. For instance, after an islamist prisoner was beaten into admission, he said that the old industrial powers of Japan and Korea came back, also reports from travelers said that there was an "international trade league" building up, which further encouranged exploration and an embassador was sent to find out about this. After he confirmed that they weren't alone, the shah sent him again with intent of joining the league.

However, further reports came from the exterior world. Although there was and there is still no internet (I suppose), the people began to hear about stuff like the reformed U.N. Although the senate at first was skeptical due to the fact that the few nations around them were pretty warlordish and refused to share seats with "warlords", soon it became clear that these states were not just warlord confederacies and that most of them were pretty stable.

A few weeks ago, a heated up argument was filmed. Although it started in a civilized way, it soon collapsed into the senators insulting eachother's parties. The Jihad on the Indo-Persian kingdom the days before to the argument also further added rejection to joining the U.N. However, the more the people waited, the more fanatical they become. November 14, 2014, the senate at last approves on joining the U.N. The shah was neutral on this himself, but he handwrote a letter to the U.N requesting admission.

I, the Shah of Persia, request the admission of the Union of Nova Pakistan and the Holy Zoroastrian Kingdom (or in short, the Indo-Persian Kingdom) into the U.N. We want peace with all the stable nations and we want that they have peace eachother.

Would you like to join the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere (GEACPS), a military and economic alliance of East Asian nations to protect free trade and sovereignty in East Asia? Decisions are be made by voting. Each nation has 1 vote. Japan and Gangnam are the current members of the alliance. So, do you want to join?

Letter to Japan

The Indo-Persian chancellor, Donya Mohsen from the Tehran Party, accepts the request to join the GEACPS in hopes of further trade.

Good. We hope that our co-operation will bring peace and stability in East Asia.

The Platonic Republic has promised to deploy builders of the worker caste to help with the cannel constructions and will be happy to sent the teams now to help the CZRC in their development. This will help increase the rates of the cannel reconstruction so that the merchants of the worker caste may benefit so that they can help benefit the Platonic Republic.

Texarkana must refrain from accepting worker contributions from the Platonic Republic due to the possibility of slave labor.

Well, it's a simple medical procedure

1. Knock guy out with anesthetics
2. Cut the testes off
3. Sow the resulting hole shut with stitches

Thanks to medical advances and care, the rate of complications and/or infections are almost non-existent. It's very quick, and we make sure the patient doesn't feel a thing.

its not like you cut a guys nuts off, inject him with testosterone, and then release "him" back out, right?

Oh goddess, why would we /want/ to inject him with testosterone? The whole point is to get rid of the testosterone producing organ.

History disagrees with you. Granted, blinding was a far more prevalent form of mutilation, but past Emperors did in fact castrate political rivals
