New Religion gains widespread popularity

We're sure you all know famous actor Carlos Mendez who will be starring in the upcoming movie Folly. But did you know he is a devout Vindexian? What do Vindexians believe? They are practitioners of a religion founded by Adamu Senai (1985-2086) in 2079 in Adwa, Ethiopia. His small group of followers numbered around 200 and believed there was something supernatural about him. He had survived many wars that had devastated the planet, making him one of the very few who remembered a time before the chaos. He claimed to have been given a vision by the gods who reigned over the earth in ages past. They told him that humanity has been given a second chance to avoid their own destruction. They said that mankind must be taught to love each other, and the only way this was possible was if they worshiped the right gods (Vindex Pantheon). The suffering of the world was caused by the various evil gods and spirits. The world had been nearly destroyed because the bad gods had more followers than the good.

Senai and his followers began to travel to the nearby areas to spread the word. They made both converts and enemies. In 2085, Islamic religious authorities in the region, disappointed by declining mosque attendance, organized a militia to drive the Vindexians out. But Senai rallied his followers to stand up to the militias. Outnumbered 3:1, the gods intervened on behalf of their believers, defeating the Islamic militias. That was the first "Divine Struggle" of the Vindex religion. after their victory they continued to proselytize, making it to Djibouti in 2086. There the prophet Adamu Senai walked to the edge of the sea and said "We shall now spread the message of the gods to every land on the planet." He was then sent straight to the gods.

After his death his followers took his word to heart. Half of them decided to stay, while the other half traveled to Monaco. they now make up 2% of the population and are quickly growing.

Private companies are private. Not public, and certainly not pirate. France has a free market; we don't tell those ship building companies what to do. They decide who they build for, based on the contracts presented to them by whoever is interested in having them build for.

Texarkana is right in the fact these negotiations have been in the work for a while. In fact, we'd be surprised if production hasn't started by now. In that regards, I'm almost positive the contracts included an exclusivity clause with Texarkana (With the execption of France herself if we need ships) during the production of the Texarkanan ships. Therefore, the time for negotiations is over.

Due to frontier disputes with the UAR, the Indo-Persian zone of control of Saudi Arabia has been abandoned. In agreement to the following map, the Indo-Persian empire has decided to change it's areas of control. The image below shows the new zones of control of the Indo-Persian Empire.

Naval developments

The VK Cossack Mk. 1 has been upgraded by massively increasing its length and tonnage, replacing the steam turbines with nuclear reactors, and including more armaments - There are now 20 anti-ship missiles, 10 SAM launchers, 2 twin-barrel 130mm guns, 4 Type 76B dual-37 mm anti-aircraft guns, 2 Type 76 anti-submarine rocket systems, 8 torpedo tubes, more depth charges, and 40 naval mines, as well as a new AESA radar. This new ship is known as the VK Cossack Mk. 2. Although it is less suitable for shallow rivers, it is still very useful on deep rivers. A planned optional modification to install equipment to clear away mud and silt from the riverbed is on the books.

Civilian developments

The Don-Volga Canal has started construction, as has a series of ports and harbours on the Volga. A new major port known as Putingrad is being built along the shores of the Azov Sea, and planning has begun on railroads to connect the various parts of the federation which are unreachable via river or canal. New industries are being built along the Volga and Don rivers to provide goods for the Volga Federation - And for the world.

the Emperor of the Roman Empire still doesn't understand the need to liberate the males from their testosterone... its not a sole factor in anything. in fact, its usually how the males are raised, and the socio-Economic-enviromental factors around their lives, that determine their aggression. this affects females, too.

im willing to bet that the french military as some of the most aggressive females (and some males) anywhere in the nation. they have to be aggressive, its part of their job.

Hey, cooperative story based IOTs get some getting used to for everyone, avoiding power-gaming and not stepping on any toes can be difficult.

If you want some advice I would suggest trying to make it better with Megs by doing a coop story, something so that your latest memory of each other isn't negative.
