The NWU does not appreciate gunboat diplomacy, but is willing to open the plant for inspection by neutral inspectors.

Finally, we would like to add that we were not, so far as the Field Marshal knows, involved in the recent attack on Japan. The matter will, however, be thoroughly investigated.

Clarification into The AF's leaving the UN
The AF left the UN because it could quite simply no longer tolerate the issue of Japan towering over all other issues. As ex-ambassador Mick McGuire said, "A coordinated attack could occur in Berlin, Paris, Dublin, Dehli and Salisbury right now and nobody would give three figs unless Japan had its finger in the bombing. It's time we told the UN to sit down without us."
The AF will still abide with the Salisbury Conventions on Warfare as Rhodesia is a proposing nation.
Troops march into Johannesburg, Pretoria, Kimberley, Nelspruit, Bloemfontein
Following declarations of war on the 1st of March by the Joint Alliance of Northern South Africa, the Rhodesian, Motswana* and Mozambican forces proved a swift response and invaded. Three weeks into the offense the states of Gauteng, Free State, Northern Cape and Mpumalanga have been conquered. The leaders of these microstates have been reappointed as governors of their respective states. Name changes are also occuring:
Gauteng: Pretoria
Free State: Orange Free State
Northern Cape: Cape-Kimberley
Mpumalanga: Kruger

In addition, Rhodesian and Mozambican officials have announced plans to reinstate Kruger Park to its former glory.

How good the UN and UAR are! They fight in the name of punishing Japanese War Crimes, when they use biological and chemical weapons to kill 20 million Japanese civilians in a few months (just consider that it took Stalin decades to kill so many people). Does anyone believes any more that the UN has a moral ground against Japan?

The 2106 Cinema Awards

Hosted in the Bavarian city of Munich the awards evening provides a ranking as well as some special awards for various films and television series. 48 Films and television series were entered into the competition.


1)Last Train to Morocco: Judges decided on this as the winner of the Cinema awards due to its intricate plot, realistic characters and very fine quality acting. Won awards in the following categories: Most Indie Film, Best Lead Actor (Matteu Hubert), Best Script, Most Contentiously Political Film.
2)Blood and Guts: Blood and Guts gained a massive fan following during its running time and was as popular with teenage girls as it was with its target demographic of the average war film viewer. Judges commented that it benefitted from an excellent ensemble cast and that the brave political move of casting a real Prisoner of War made the performance especially real and gritty. Won awards in following categories: Most Sensitive Cheekbones (Mr. Ahmet), Best Musical Score, Best Television Drama
3)Propaganda: This rip roaring comedy got millions around the world laughing in their cinema seats but at the same time gave an interesting political satire of the fact that several other winners were state funded politically motivated films. It won awards in the following: Best Comedy, Best Supporting Actor (Hiltraud Buhr), Best Ensemble Cast.
4)Harvard U: This political thriller made by a Texarkan television company Green Hill Studios had people gripping on the edge of their seats with its controversial portrayal of the fear ingrained into the minds of all in the world of a nuclear war like that one that killed 9 billion people a few decades earlier. The television series was critically acclaimed for its political satire.

12) The Red Shores of Vietnam: This film was largely ignored by viewers the judges suggest that it might be because of a feeble advertisement campaign and that the film itself wasn’t all that bad. However compared to other summer blockbusters it really isn’t much to talk about.

48) HOLD THE LINE: Judges considered not even mentioning this film due to how utterly atrocious it was. Many are comparing it to Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing: The Movie in sheer awfulness. The acting was more wooden that wood and the judges were felt feeling confused as to whether it failed at being so bad it was funny or whether it was actually taking itself seriously.

20 million people? that's like two Roman Empires killed, right there, and it was a quarter of the popualtion. if this is indeed a work of sabotage, then the Empire harshly criticizes any nation(s) responsible. if this is an accident, then Emperor Theodoros Komnenos personally offers his condolences to the Japanese people.

we are willing to offer humanitarian supplies to Japan, should they need/want any. 20 million dead people would cause a very, very, serious disruption of every level of Japanese society and culture. it may even collapse entirely.

We thank you and we shall accept any help, but Japan would like to point that it is still far from collapse. Our military forces in China are still strong while Taiwan and the Japanese Home Islands have been turned into fortresses ready to face any enemy.

Hans Nørup scratched the back of his neck nervously. He was anxious after having spent so much time in those customized jumpsuits that he wasn't used to wearing his actual uniform anymore. Or maybe it was the uncomfortable sensation that the thousands of people and television cameras in front of him were observing his every move. One of the two.

"Alright there Nørup?" Abel asked, nudging him in the ribs. Hans nodded, unwilling to open his mouth and show half of the world what he had for breakfast today. At least the summer heat wave was over, Hans reasoned. Trying to forget about the millions of people waiting for the ceremony to begin, he turned his attention to the side of the palace steps, where the one of the Archduchess' ministers was talking in hushed tones to what he thought was the Foreign Minister of Indonesia. After some time, the last dignitary arrived and took his seat at the far end, prompting an anonymous voice to call for the crowd's silence.

The ceremony was taking place in the courtyard of the Hofburg Palace, and the crowd was divided down the middle where an aisle was set up. Nørup heard it would be a traditional old-time coronation ceremony, so it was no surprise to see the Archbishop of Vienna was approaching the podium. He was flanked by who he recognized as the Archduchess' advisor from the weapons demonstration back in the Alps. He was honored with holding the ceremonial crown, a magnificent work of art cast in gold and silver and bedecked with diamonds and sapphires.

The frail Archbishop announced in a deep booming voice the arrival of the honor guard. A fanfare sounded, and every eye was drawn to the center aisle. There were many gasps from the crowd, and Hans distinctly heard one of the foreign dignitaries shout "Holy dooley!" Turns out the Meteor power suits had arrived just in time to lead the honor guard into the courtyard. The Meteors took their places and presented arms alongside the honor guard in perfect, prompting a cheer from the crowd. This was the first public appearance of the power suits, and Hans admitted they had made a good first impression. The Archbishop called for silence again as a limousine pulled up to the entrance of the courtyard where the honor guard had arrived.

"People of Germany," the Archbishop boomed. "Archduchess Claudia Maria Hapsburg!"

The crowd was utterly silent as the Archduchess stepped out of the limousine. She was wearing a brilliantly blue and silver dress, no doubt hand-made solely for this occasion. Smiling, she started making her way towards the steps of the palace, the honor guard lowering their weapons as she passed. After what felt like ages, she reached the steps of the palace and knelt solemnly before the archbishop, who approached her along with the advisor. Everyone held their breath as the archbishop tenderly took the crown and placed it upon her head. "By the grace of God, the son, and the Holy Ghost," Hans heard the archbishop murmur. "I crown thee Empress of Germany." The Archduchess rose to her feet and turned to face the crowd as the Archbishop returned to the podium to make his final announcement.

"I present to you her holy majesty, Empress Claudia Maria Hapsbrug!" the Archbishop boomed, upon which he was drowned out by the tumultuous applause. Hans joined in eagerly as the newly crowned Empress ascended to the podium to speak.

"Well," she said with a nervous laugh. "That's certainly a weight off my mind." She grinned nervously as the crown laughed with her. Hans wondered if she was as anxious about this as he was.

"People of Germany," the Empress began, adopting a more regal and serious tone. "We have made great strides in the past few years. In spite of tragedy and global turmoil, Germany has grown to become a true world power. Our great nation is at the forefront of scientific innovation, and our economic and industrial capacity is second to none. Furthermore, our cooperation with Australia, Indonesia, and Poland has paved the way for greater international cooperation on the world stage, even as nations in Africa and the Americas abandon such pretenses. While others retreat into isolation, we will work to bring the world closer together." After a smattering of applause she continued.

"Our goals will start with bringing peace to the war-torn regions in the Far East. I have made the call for the belligerent nations to come to the peace table and negotiate an end to the chaos that has taken so many innocent lives." Hans looked over and saw the Foreign Minister from earlier applauding wildly with the crowd.

"Now, before I go on, I want to recognize two individuals who have done their part to make Germany a great nation once again." She gestured to Hans and Abel, who both got to their feet. "As you see, Germany has unveiled their powered armor exoskeletons to the world. Without the sacrifices made by Unteroffiziers Hans Nørup and Klaus Abel, the Meteor would have been nothing but a scientific theory. Risking life and limb in their service to the German Empire, they are truly deserving of recognition. Gentlemen?"

Hans and Abel stepped towards the podium as the advisor reappeared holding a thin wooden box. Claudia reached into the box and produced, to Han's amazement, the Iron Cross. It was an old decoration, an award that hadn't been used since before the bombs fell. The German dignitaries seemed equally amazed that she was bestowing this award on them, even if the Australians and others didn't see the significance of the award. Hans just stood at attention while Claudia presented him the Iron Cross, pinning it to his lapel with shaking hands. The crowd burst into applause when the Empress stood aside.

Suddenly, the fact that millions of people were watching him didn't seem so bad after all.

100,000 Japanese soldiers arrive in Mainland Japan:

100,000 Japanese soldiers, of whom 70,000 are newly drafted into the army, have landed in Japanese Mainland and have the mission to reinforce the forces there and battle the enemy to the last man. Except for those 100,000 soldiers, also 7,000 volunteers from the Nazi Japanese National Socialist Party have been send to the Japanese Mainland to defend the nation and destroy the Barbarians. The Japanese Mainland Imperial Army, now numbering 600,000 men, has lost almost 450,000 soldiers in the last offensive and the subsequent chemical and biological attack, however it remains a strong force and Japanese Generals are confident that Japan still has strong enough forces to defend Japanese China. There are rumors of new Japanese offensive in the Chinese theater, which could change the tide of the war.

Total Japanese Casualties: The Japanese Government has estimated that military casualties are 2 million soldiers and sailors and civilian casualties 20 million people. So, the total casualties are 22 million Japanese.

Gangnam counterattack

A massive surge of Japanese forces into mainland China have forced President Je Sung of the Gangnam Republic to make a change in the war plans.

To keep the nation secure and the population content, President Je Sung has issued Order 999.

Order 999 states that every Gangnam citizen who willingly aids in the construction of defenses and provides shelter for Gangnam armies will be rewarded accordingly. It also states that every Japanese civilian or soldier that joins the Gangnam Republic will be offered money and a house in the suburbs. They will not be forced to work, as slavery is out of discussion in the Gangnam Republic.

As a result, population flocked at the recruitment centers to aid in the war effort .
One of them, Sam Young, came up with a plan that would propagate Gangnam's message to the enemy lines without endangering anyone. Basically, Gangnam Pilots would have to fly at unison and leave a trail of colored steam behind, writing a message on the sky.

One of the messages that will appear will be "Gangnam offers protection; Japan offers suicide missions" . Others are " Join Gangnam! No slavery, no lies, no worries" , "Do you really want to fight us? Well, the Japanese don't give you a choice. We do." , "Roses are red, violets are blue, Ruchang's a tyrant, His slave will be you?" , "Join the Japanese army they said. It will be fun, they said", "Free shelter and food for every Japanese who denies Ruchang's rule", "JAPAN, Y U NO REVOLT AGAINST RUCHANG'S TYRANNY?" and "Hakuna Matata! Greetings from the Gangnam Republic!"

Takeshi Ruchang is appointed Imperial Crown Prince and dissolves the Japanese Diet:

Takeshi Ruchang is as of today the Imperial Crown Prince and the heir to the Japanese Imperial Throne. Takeshi Ruchang has married into the Imperial Family (he married the granddaughter of Emperor Iwao, Princess Sutematsu) and he has also served the state for many years, granting many services to the Japanese nation. So, his appointment as Imperial Crown Prince by the Emperor was greeted positively in Japan.

After his appointment, the Shogun, Prime Minister and Imperial Crown Prince Takeshi dissolved the Japanese Diet (Parliament). Although martial law has been imposed to Japan for quite some time and many democratic institutions have been suspended, the Japanese Diet had continued it's sessions and although it had limited power, it still was able to hold some influence. However, now Takeshi has completely dissolved the Diet with the reasoning that in such a crisis, decisions should be made as swift and fast as possible and that the Japanese people must be united. So, the Diet only slowed down things and divided the Japanese people between parties.

After dissolving the Diet, Takeshi, in accordance to the above reasoning, banned all political parties. The Democratic and National Parties have merged into the Japanese Dawn Group (JDG), which is not a political party, but a group which supports Takeshi's rule. Takeshi has also created a Japanese Imperial Council, made up of twelve (12) Generals and Politicians and who will help him in his decisions.

We have not forgotten.

The Monastic State of the Order of Malta hereby establishes the Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Island of Malta. The Fellowship is a military order specifically created to be open to foreign nationals who wish to serve Christ.

Membership in the Fellowship is open to any who meet the following criteria:

• Male.
• Be physically and mentally capable.
• Between the ages of 16 and 40.
• Christian, of either the Roman Catholic or New Roman Catholic denomination, or any other Church in communion with either of those two.

There are no other criteria. Any man of any nationality can join the Fellowship.

To prospective members: the training is harsh. Make no mistake about that. It is designed to filter out those who have a weak spirit, and to create ties of brotherhood between recruits of the Fellowship. But do not worry. Those of strong heart and strong will can find fortune and fraternity in the Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Island of Malta. There, bonds of brotherhood transcend nationality.

Those who serve in the Fellowship will receive training similar to that of the Knights Hospitaller, and be equipped equally.
