Here are my claims for this turn, the Salomon Islands, core Oceanic territory. Inside the great lines would be all the territory I will be claiming with no apparent order until I finish completing the space.
I also have de jure claims (Europa Universalis style) on Papua, that I might use or not, and New Zealand, which I will rename Aotearoa, if Perfection resigns. He is anyways not very active these last days, which ofc doesn't have to mean anything.

Indo-Persia
For neighbour states, we have remained strangely disassociated in our political relations. The United Arab Republic is interested in establishing reciprocal trade for needed goods. What does Indo-Persia have to offer?

Due to the fact that we mostly control the Indus River, we have access to agricultural lands. We also have some coal mines. In addition to this, we would like to start a Cairo-Damascus-Baghdad-Persepolis railway (if not possible, just a highway). What do you think about our proposal?

You have claimed Fergusson Island, Sudest Island, and Manus Island, all of which were part of the state of Papau New Guinea before the global war. As Papau New Guinea is under Australian Protection these lands are also under Australian protection. In addition you are claiming Papau New Guinea as your own as well as New Zealand. These claims are considered an aggressive action against Australia and New Zealand's sovereignty and territorial integrity. I demand that you relinquish these claims and restore your affirmation to Australia's territorial integrity and its sovereignty. If the government of Oceania does not comply to these requests the Government of Australia and New Zealand will have no choice but to declare war.

Your army is currently planning to occupy lands historically considered part of Laos. Withdraw immediately.

Because we wish peaceful relations with our neighbors, we will change our claims:

Bula kei kemudou, saka David Walker:

Claiming territories as rightfully own if they are not part of your country de facto is to be considered bullish, and by Makeatutara our honor cannot permit us abide on your demands.

If your type of claims are correct, you theoretically could also claim most of our islands, since in the mid 20th century and early 21st century they were dependent on the nation of our ancestors.
But that nation of Australia is long gone, and as you know, as with all the other nations within this planet, if there is a similarity between the nations of today and the ones before the great cataclysm (pray we to Rūaumoko to never make it happen again), it exists only in the name of them.
We consider our claims in this area, and in Papua, legitimely valid, because all the tribes and people who live there are our brothers in Culture And Traditions, since millennia and still today, and no oppressive white-race Centralization, racism and exploitation from Sydney/Canberra and dumb excuses regarding borders artificially and unjust made in European Capitals more than 2 centuries ago, that have NO validity whatsoever, will convince us to break the bonds that all the people in all these regions want to share.
Saka Walker, be reasonable. If one single error from the past is to be amended, it is war! Let us build together a world of peace and prosperity! We have to remind you that 90% of our armed forces consist on a powerful navy, much stronger than yours, perfectly capable of defending our borders and making our small islands completely impregnable. Also, around 40% of our population of 6 million possess a boat, and armed militias would not doubt to come even in millions to storm all your shores, stretching to an impossible point your defenses in your large continent and making you suffer heavy losses, both material and human.
Our people are as pacific as our ocean, but very nationalistic too, so beware, and please be you that put down your unrightfully claims.

OOC: The islands were blank, Mengsk.

EDIT: Also, until the country of 'Australia and "New Zealand" ' has De Facto ownership and sovereignty over New Zealand, our nation will not listen to you claims over these islands. If that scenario comes, we can gladly negotiate.

We will come to the aid of our Australian allies if war is to come, but Kaiserin Claudia desires peace within the Far East above all else. If we may make a suggestion, why not leave the Australians with the land they desire and colonize elsewhere? South America still has unclaimed lands in the North, as well as untapped natural resources that could greatly benefit your people.

We could do that. We could abandon our brothers in language and traditions because Australia wishes to do it.
Is it unjust and a humiliation? You should agree with me, yes.

Indonesia declares that we are willing to join our Australian allies along with Germany if war erupts.

the Roman Empire would wish that both sides would calm down, and try to negotiate their way through this.

Thanks, Emperor. As I said, I do not want war, ofc.

But these territories were blank, and if mister Terran Emperor can decide on who can claim where, well, why doesn't Russia paint Red all of Siberia in the next turn?
I arrived first! :old:

the Empires position is that spheres of influence can be declared, and the following territories claimed over time. all nations should respect it.

basically, if Australia claimed these lands in its Sphere of Influence before you did, then it goes to them. if it goes to war, well... we will either stay out of it, or help out Australia.

Russia's got Korean support if they want Siberia.
All I'm asking is for them to leave anything I already own in my possesion.

There are spheres of influence, I myself have drawn in the first post of this page the lines on the map. But he didn't say anything about Papua until now, after I claimed. And, well, Papua is on my sphere of influence, technically speaking...

Also Chester, it was just an example, I don't know your position in Siberia (well now I do, but you get the point xD)

No, we don't.

Russia notes Germany's double standard but won't get involved in a war halfway across the world.

Also yes we will be painting Siberia red.

what if someone basically claims it (as a new nation) before you do? what then? :p
